Hungry Hunter Steakhouse 3580 Rosedale Highway, Bakersfield, CA 93308

"To be fair, when I checked in for my reservation I did not have a great experience, however, when we were seated, our server Clay more than made up for it. The thing about Clay that made the difference was his ability to read his audience and respond in kind, this made the experience great! How was the food? Let me put it this way. No one went home with a doggie bag. Prime rib, Rib eyes and a Porterhouse with salads and sides, all went down well. The Cesar salad was by far the best I have ever had. If they keep the same consistency I would come back just for it. The one downgrade was dessert. Both the brownie and carrot cake were a bit dry to our liking, but we did not come here for the dessert. If you do happen to visit, ask for Clay to be your server."

"The parking was plenty as we went on a weekday. The atmosphere was nice with great decor. The waiting area is a bit on the small side. The interior is spacious and inviting. The server was amazing and very helpful. The food was excellent and cooked to order. The salad was made right in front of me with my choice of items. Then after the main meal they bring dessert out for you to visually help make a choice. We arrived a little before they closed but were not rushed to leave."

"By far 1 of the worse restaurants I've had the experience of trying, arrived at 547 was told about 30 minutes for a seat. At about 715 we were seated after we asked why we are being over looked, and people that have reservations are still walking in and getting seats after 630.. with many tables in the dining area empty, was brought 1 glass of water to a table of 3. Ordered a appetizer potato skins these wear very good, unfortunately I got my dinner salad 20 minutes before the appetizer, order the primerib medium rare and French fries, fries could not even eat, the steak was under cooked, my daughters fettuccine was over salted, her bf new York was suppose to be meduim rare that thing was well done like chewing on a belt, yes at this point you'll get better food cooked at sizzler. Service is better at burger King, 2 good things about this place, the server made right and only charged for the new York steak cause he said it was OK, not my choice, and the potato skins were very good, the bad: not 1 time did the mgr come out after hearing about the poor quality food and service."

"First time here, the pics looked tasty and our meals did not disappoint. From the appetizers to the entree everything was tasty! I’m trying to find room for dessert. The staff are very friendly and courteous, there’s plenty of parking and the decor is casual dining. I need to come back and try more dishes."
