"I’ll warn you now, my opinion on Wedge’s Hideaway is very biased because my family owns this resort. I grew up in Northern Illinois and during my 90s childhood, EVERY summer, my grandma drove my younger cousins and I to stay for a long weekend or a week. Even though it seemed like the middle of no where with little cable or man-made attractions, my fondest memories come from this place. As an adult I still look forward to and treasure this place. The serene wilderness, the nightly loon serenades, the beautiful sun rises and sunsets, the prime fishing experiences.... there’s no place like it. The cabins are clean with full modern accommodations, but when you step outside you get the full (“up north”) Northern Wisconsin wilderness effect. I highly recommend Wedge’s Hideaway."

"One word to sum up my two trips here with my grandparents: amazing. I love the fact that she cleans them (every week?) because it really shows they care about each person/family that comes through. The St Croix Flowage has some great fishing and being at Wedges made my last trip with my grandpa even more special. I can’t wait to come back with my grandma and extra family next year!"
