"I used this business to serve a small claim to someone and for some reason they had me fill out my credit card information and refused to bill me when I sought their service. They insisted they would bill me after the person was served. They billed me after the person was served, approximately a week later. During the court date the person I sued presented the very same document that I had filled out with my sensitive credit card information on it and the judge ordered him to hand it back to me. When I contacted pacific process and legal services to ask why the man I sued had all my credit card information (number, expiration date, ccv code, etc) they gave a pat response saying that never happened before and they were sorry, but the attitude was ultimately very dismissive. Stay away from this place."
"My go to Court Filing company in Humboldt County. Affordable and quick service. Very communicative and knowledgeable. Steve is amazing! Every time I have a filing, he gets it done that day. If they don’t have time, he communicates that and gets it done the next day. Today I had a filing I didn’t need to get filed until next week, and he offered to get it filed today with no extra charge. Thank you Professional Photocopy!"
"In short, this company failed to fill out a proof of service correctly and lied about the date the original was sent back to me. Due to their errors the deadline was not met, and the court did not accept the proof of service, and this company took no responsibility for their errors. Had they done their job correctly the deadline would have been met, with or without their prior knowledge of the deadline - which was plainly posted on the citation but was not explicitly told to them. Long story - This company started out strong and we had a mutual understanding that they would try three service attempts for the price given. They completed the service and I was happy with how prompt it was done. They provided an electronic copy of the document and I continued to file with the local courts. I was notified by the return service that the document was filled out incorrectly and I needed the original document filed. The error was not filling in the service address and when told of their error they asked ME which address they should put in the missing location. All proof of service documents in the state of California needs proof of whom they served, when, where, and how and they should have known, as a process serving company, those simple details. I was unaware of those exact requirements until I researched this myself because I had faith they knew how to properly do the job I paid them to do. I reached out to this company and they provided an electronic copy of the revised document for my records and told me they would send the original. 11 days later I had still not received the original document and reached out to the company. They made no apologies, only reassurances that it was sent a few days after I requested the original be mailed to me. I received the original document a few days after my follow up email with a postage date from the date of my follow up email, not the original date (or a few days after) that I requested the original be mailed to me. They had lied to me about when it was sent and it in fact had not been sent until I followed up. Had I received the original document after they said they sent it I would have been able to file it with the courts successfully. Because I did not receive it in a timely manner the document was useless and the judge ordered a new court date needing a new in person proof of service. I requested assistance with no further charge because they had successfully done in person service but due to two of their own errors I was unable to file the paperwork successfully. They responded to my email 5 days later and after another follow up email stating they attempted service 5 times and that's why it took so long to receive my paperwork and said if I needed further service I would need to pay the full $75. They additionally pointed a finger at me and said I had not provided a deadline to them, even though a deadline would be moot if they had done their jobs correctly, and they took no responsibility for their errors. I'm extremely disappointed and I would not recommend their services."
"I have been working with this company for over ten years. I don't know of any other person who has more experience in the field of process service than the owner of this company. Trustworthy and professional."
"Used them to file papers with the Humboldt County Superior court. KC was very professional and easy to work with and he's quick to get things filed."
