Reviews
"A very quaint museum, it is a lot larger than it first appears. The docent we has was a sixth generation Anderson valley resident. Like a lot of similar operations they are having trouble getting volunteers especially on the weekends."
"Very interesting & well maintained local historical museum. They organized the huge photo albums by early settler family. They even one time had their own Boontling alphabet & language. Definitely worth to stop by. We had a very knowledgeable & friendly docent who leads us."
"A very well organized museum with lots of local artifacts. There is 3 different buildings to walk through and the staff does a great job of explaining the history. It was really fun to learn about “boontling ” the unique language that was locals in the 1930s spoke. Today only a handful of people speak it. I also learned a lot about the farming and logging in the area."
"A well kept treasure trove of local history. Learn about Boontling, life of the past and the families that once and still do call Anderson Valley home."
