"Neil started our evening with excellent drinks and a friendly welcome. We got to experience an excellent sunset from the perfect spot at the Lodge. Then the food... excellent, bellisimo, superior. The only thing I would request is that the service be quicker and the server more attentive. I highly recommend LAKE WISSOTA LODGE!"

"We stopped at Wissota Lodge for the first time on Friday night as it’s close to our house and on the way home from work. At 4pm we beat the rush and it was quiet the whole time we were there. We were seated fairly quickly and the view looking over the lake was spectacular! One of the things that was a bit confusing was the bar/dinner menu. There was food on the website that was not on the dinner menu. Is there a separate menu and separate drink specials just for the bar?? This is very unclear by looking at the website but we didn’t get happy hour drink prices in the restaurant. My husband and I both ordered the fish— he ordered it battered and I ordered it blackened— his with fries and mine with garlic mashed potatoes. Our dinners also came with the house veg (asparagus) and dinner salads. The fish was $19.95. We both really enjoyed our food!! The fish was giant and cooked perfectly! The batter on the fish was perfectly light. We would definitely return for the fish! The service was okay… it took a while for our waitress to check on us after we got our food and it seemed they were busy setting up tables for the evening. Also, I do think it’s unprofessional for service staff to be on their phones in the dining room. Even with these hiccups we will return because the food was that good."

"I had the fillet steak with lobster bisque. Everything was delicious! This was the best steak I have ever had in my life. Cooked to perfection the sauce was perfect. Wow I will be back here for sure. It was a long wait for food but well worth it."

"It was our first time at the Wissota Lodge for dinner tonight, and we will definitely be back. We had amazing service from beginning to end. We had jalapeño poppers for an appetizer that had some kick to them but were the best I've had around this area. I went with the Chicken breast with a creamy gouda sauce, garlic mashed, and asparagus. It was an excellent choice, very flavorful, and light. We are looking forward to our next time at the lodge! Thank you for the excellent service!"

"It took 45 minutes to get the salad. Another hour and a half to get the food!! I ate at the bar and Friday nights I know are busy but the table turnaround is non-existent for the length of time to get food makes for huge loss of revenue! I'll give them one more a star cuz the food was good!!"
