"Excellent park to hike around at when in the Menomonie area. Many different trails to choose from and an observation tower to climb and view the surrounding area. I would recommend checking out Hoffman Hills State Recreation Area if in the area and looking for a good hike!"
"Great day hiking, hilly (as you'd expect), looks like it would have a good challenging range of cross-country ski trails when there is enough snow, some with some pretty good descents. Nice mix of hardwoods, conifers, and some open agricultural land. Big views from the tower on top of the ridge."
"Very unique hiking area. I didn't realize there were so many trails and it turned out to be quite interesting and fun. Though they are pretty steep in some areas like up to the observation tower. I am afraid of heights but I did climb the observation tower which was pretty cool. It's a smaller Park type area free admission and nice in the middle of nowhere LOL definitely recommend"
"My husband was trying to find a good playground for our kids, and we stumbled upon Hoffman Hills Recreation, and it was a blast! It was beautiful. The trails were nice it was a wonderful experience."
"The map is super confusing because there're a lot of extra trails that aren't on the map, but other than that, it's a good walking trail for sight seeing and just general walking. They need garbage cans because someone put a diaper on the bench which is pretty vile. And everyone moves the bench so I think they should make the bench not moveable"
