"Derek’s incompetence was evident from the start. He miscalculated the cost for the wrong apartment, then lied about a price increase that never happened, unable to admit his mistake. He constantly delayed, promising to fix things ‘tomorrow,’ which never came. He even insisted our legitimate checks were fake and claimed our male manager was female. His incessant calls disrupted work, followed by unresponsiveness. Dreadful experience with an incredibly incompetent staff member. Absolutely unprofessional and not customer-centric management. They dragged their feet for so long that we ran out of time, unable to correct their mistake or reapply. No one wants to resort to confrontation, but dealing with these rude and unqualified individuals is even less desirable. Avoid at all costs."

"Awful apartment complex. Fire alarms go off weekly, often in the middle of the night. Parking was supposed to be free for guests, which was promised when I signed the lease. Now they are no longer validating tickets, so there is no convenient parking for guests anywhere nearby. Trash fees are too high, even though the trash chutes are always clogged and there is always trash and dog poop on the floor. There should be valet trash service for the prices they charge. Noisy apartment with thin walls. Street racers/street takeovers on the intersection next to the building seem to happen every other weekend in the middle of the night which wakes us up until the police show up. Price is too high for all the problems and subpar utilities. I highly recommend people not move here."

"Best experience I’ve had as a renter. Everyone from the leasing office, front desk, and maintenance staff have been super professional and kind. They really go above and beyond. After living here for a year I decided to upgrade units. The staff made the process simple and stress free. The apartments here are super modern and spacious. They also throw frequent events for residents such as coffee tastings, movie nights and yappy hours for our pups. I’ve also met some amazing neighbors and friends living here. Very happy."

"DO NOT MOVE HERE My door battery died and I couldn’t get into my apartment and they supposedly fixed it. Was working for a day then when it was 1am in the morning I couldn’t get into my apartment again for some reason because my key fob / door was not working. Went to the lobby to ask for help. I have lived in different luxury building for years and never in my life have I been told that there was nothing they can do to get me back in but call maintenance. Mind you the maintenance on call that night supposedly lives 40+ minutes away from the building. I asked if there was a master key or a new fob I could get so I can get back into my apartment and was told that legally they were not allowed to do that. I didn’t even lose my key and I couldn’t even get into my own apartment that I pay rent for. Had to sit outside my apartment to wait. What is the point of living in a luxury building when you can’t even get back into your home because your fob or door suddenly is not working? Every building I have lived in had another fob or some way to let residents back into their apartment quickly. This is honestly the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever experienced. At the price I’m paying to live here, this should not be happening. So called “luxury” building. Where is the luxury? This is just one of the numerous negative experiences I’ve had so far of living here for two years. Absolutely ridiculous."

"Couldn’t be more pleased with living here. VOX is such a beautiful place to live with amenities being a huge selling point of the property, especially with the current rain storm, I don’t have to leave to go to the gym, Whole Foods is right under you, recording studio & theater a floor away and so much more! shout out to Kiah, she is so helpful and friendly every time I need anything, she always is quick to assist me. I would recommend this property to anyone looking in Culver City!"
