Reviews of Galleria Townhomes
"We just moved in to the townhouses in lawndale. Anamarie has been unbelievable. She worked with me for months and went above and beyond helping us get a place. We had a really hard year due to an ugly divorce. I am so thankful that I found her no one else came close into helping us like Anamarie did. Micheal helped us get moved in and was so friendly to me and took the time to show me around. We absolutely love our new home. We feel such a good vibe here and are so excited to our new life to South Bay. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for us we couldn’t be happier."
"I’ve shown Interest in moving into the Galleria townhomes and have been in contact with Anamarie, she has been nothing short of amazing answering all my questions and guiding me through the whole rental process. If you need to get in contact with someone patient and professional then Anamarie is your girl because she has been very patient answering all my questions. She has facilitated the process for me and I am really thankful. Thank you so much Anamarie!"
"I've been living here for 2 years. Jessica the manager, is very kind and helpful. I love how I live near Redondo beach. I definitely recommend living here in Galleria Townhomes."
"We lived here for several years. The most important thing I can stress is that after the management changed to AMC the prices skyrocketed and the service downgraded. It took multiple requests for repairs to be made or corrected. Changes were attempted to be implemented outside the terms of the lease. But most egregious is that the unit across from ours had an electrical fire and almost none of the units had the legally required amount/placement of smoke detectors, including the unit that had the fire. The fire extinguishers in public areas lacked tools to break the glass. The law had been in place for years requiring this and I had even put in a specific request before this incident to have the additional detectors placed in our unit. I cannot imagine why all units did not have the necessary repairs done beyond either greed or incompetence. It still makes me angry to think about how careless the management was with our safety. But it shouldn’t have surprised me... Weeks without an on site manager (legally required for the number of units). Broken gates. Unpermitted structures. While I found the location convenient, it simply was not worth the stress of dealing with the management. Edit: see their reply below. Why did it take a fire for all the units to get the legally required safety equipment. I personally interviewed at least 8 other units. Only one was up to code. I had a screaming match the manager over this. It was until I got the city involved that they corrected it. Fire safety is a big deal. And they are completely cavalier about it. To say nothing about the repeated broken gates and locks that were never fixed in a timely fashion. And of course my favorite was the giant shed that was installed with no permits pulled for the electrical work. That then had to be removed. It shouldn’t be a surprise though. AMC had one of the largest civil judgments awarded against it when they failed to fix a hot water heater and the tenant got brain damage for carbon monoxide poisoning. Easily googleable."
"I lived there for several years and honestly the management staff is always changing and always trying to get your money in the best way they can. Utilities are used by the entire complex and at the end of the month total charges are divided among the people living in there. Also my friend used to live there and she only got half of her deposit since they try to keep the most they can. We had roaches and had to call the city since they wouldn’t do anything to fix the problem. Apartments are very small and not worth your money."
