Reviews of Grand Hyatt San Francisco
"A beautiful hotel! We were in a bay view room and sunrise was absolutely breathtaking each morning. The night scapes with the skyline were unmatched, and we were so close to the Moscone for our conference. Bar staff was wonderful and the breakfast buffet was delightful."
"Adjusted my stay, no charge. Fixed a rattle in my room AC in minutes. Great view, great Town Car, fast internet. Bat restaurant is excellent. Bartenders are next level and the food was delicious. I'm glad we stayed in for dinner."
"Great location. Really nice lobby with a fireplace. The bed is so comfy I didn't want to leave. Not great electric outlets near the bed. My charger kept falling out, so bring options. I would totally stay here again."
"This place has a lot of pros and cons and I'll let you decide it's value. The room was clean, good storage, good lighting, good view (room 2909 floor 29 has a great view but there are also great views from the stairs! Check out the pictures), a safe, a small fridge and right below the gym. I loved the view, being close to the gym, the staff was friendly and kind, and the hotel was close to places to eat. However the downside was that the ac unit was as loud as a train, food was expensive, and the bed was like laying on a bed of rocks! But the staff did direct us to great places to eat and things to do. The gym was great, however it was busy around 7-8 AM. But it was probably the best hotel gym I have ever seen. Lots of equipment, great views while working out, and will meet your expectations. The staff was great, provided bottled water daily, great food recommendations, and was great at cleaning our room daily. The staff answered our questions and never gave us any bad suggestions. We could basically go anywhere or get on the bus or trolley! But we used a car to get to a further destination. But depending on what you do you may not need a car! If you decide to stay here beware of Darth Vader in vent in room 2909!"
"I don’t leave reviews very often and I honestly feel bad about leaving a bad review but I have to share my frustration from our evening last night at the Hyatt in SF. I have been a Hyatt member for over 20 years and have always been happy with their service. We have never had a negative experience until last night. We were attending an event in San Francisco last night and I booked two room on my Hyatt points. One for my husband and myself and one for my daughters. In the past, I have always been able to just call the hotel and add my daughter’s names for their room and also my husband’s name to our room. This time they told me I had to call the Hyatt main line and do this from my account because I had booked the rooms on points. So, I called and had a 30 minute discussion with an excellent representative who helped me to change the room to my daughter’s name and also add my husband to my room. They assured me that I did not have to be there at check in because they had made this change. When my family arrived they were told by the manager that they could not check into the room because I was not present. VERY frustrating! We finally arrived back at the hotel at midnight and were able to check in because I was present. Now I would like to compliment a wonderful employee, Miriam, who was very professional and kind and helped us with getting everything sorted. Thank you, Miriam!"
