"I'm glad to provide feedback about the apartment building. Overall, I am impressed with the apartment building for several reasons: 1. Excellent amenities: The apartment building offers a wide range of amenities that cater to residents' needs, such as a well-equipped gym, a rooftop lounge with stunning views. 2. Responsive management: The building's management team is attentive and quick to address any maintenance issues or concerns, providing a smooth living experience. 3. Convenient location: The apartment building is situated in a prime location, making it easy to access public transportation, nearby shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. 4. Well-maintained common areas: The common areas, including hallways, lobby, and outdoor spaces, are kept clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant atmosphere for residents and visitors alike. 5. Safety and security: The apartment building takes residents' safety seriously, with secure access points and surveillance systems in place, contributing to a sense of security. 6. Friendly community: The building fosters a friendly and welcoming community atmosphere, making it easy to connect with neighbors. Overall, my experience living in this apartment building has been very positive, and I would highly recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and enjoyable place to call home."

"My goal here is not to talk badly about C on Pico/Equity Residential, but merely to inform. I lived at C on Pico for precisely a year before I had enough. Starting with the positive aspects, the management was exceptional. Eric and Billy were always attentive and willing to assist with any problems that arose. Maintenance was also very efficient, responding to requests in a timely fashion. Gated parking in West LA was a godsend, and I felt that my vehicles were mostly secure (however, there was something wrong with the gate and it was open for a few days). The actual apartment was clean and had newer appliances at the time of move-in. Upon moving out, I didn't notice any extra charges beyond the usual cleaning and repair fees. The move-out inspection and final statement were both fair and I received some of my deposit back in a timely manner. Unfortunately, this is where the positive aspects end. C on Pico is a great place to live if you don't care about the surrounding area. I understand that nothing can be done about the area, but I was paying $3,500 for an 800-square-foot apartment facing the 10 freeway, with homeless people making it difficult to drive due to the constant garbage in the street. The cost-to-area ratio is unjustifiable. This place is worth no more than $2,100 a month due to these issues. You can't even enjoy your balcony because the freeway vehicles are too loud. I also witnessed a shooting at the intersection of Pico and Centinela, right by the 10 freeway underpass. Once again, not worth the $3,500 price tag. The mail room was a point of frustration for me throughout the year. It was in the same area as the guest parking, where a large gate was opened to let guests come in. Packages were constantly being stolen. Anyone from the street could walk in, steal a package, and leave. Although signs said that delivery people must deliver all packages to the residents' door if the Amazon hub locker was full, they did not, causing packages to pile up in front of the mailboxes. The mail area was also next to the dumpsters, making the surrounding area disgusting and smelly. Other negatives include the elevator certificates which expired over a year ago. The gym appeared to have not been cleaned in ages, and one treadmill had been broken the entire time I lived there, leaving only one other to use. Additionally, someone frequently kicked in one of the P2 elevator buttons, which took time to fix.. Overall, while management and maintenance were great, C on Pico simply is not worth the price. Equity Residential tried to raise my rent from $3,500 to $3,700 after just one year of living there. With all of the negatives, that price is absolutely not justifiable."

"I've lived at C on Pico since the building opened and my #1 favorite part of living here is the maintenance staff. They're always incredibly helpful and quick to resolve any issues. I've never had a problem go unchecked for longer than a day. Johnathan Ojeda is by far the best senior service technician I've dealt with during my tenure at this residence. The other day he went out of his way to carry a heavy box for me. He simply saw me struggling by the mailboxes and helped me out. I'm grateful for such a stellar team!"

"It's been amazing living here - it's a safe area and close to all the major spots. Gabriela and Eric from the leasing office are great and friendly. And big shout out to our maintenance team always come in time whenever there's issue. Especially Jonathan - he is so helpful and professional. Also, this is also a dog friendly apartment!!"
