"Please do not use Dr Gould for any mental health service or medication. He prescribed my daughter who had never been prescribe medication for anxiety 40 MG of Prozac . She had no history of suicidal ideation or depression. Her therapist assured me she had never experienced depression. It was covid shut down, she was struggling with anxiety and she had a full psychiatric break because of Dr. Goulds mistake in prescribing this dose. It’s unheard of to prescribe this dose for mild anxiety an 5’ 7” 115 lb girl and her first experience taking meds for anxiety. He is not qualified to treat any child for mental health prescriptions."
"My kids have been going to this office for years and all of the providers have been terrific , fantastic, wonderful, kind etc, however after calling the after hrs number over a concern I had as to why child seems to be vommiting every night since Thursday and speaking with Dr Nutting who sound annoyed and bothered by the call and spoke to like I was a waste of his time. Shame on you for as a DOCTOR to speak with a concerned/worried parent."
"We have 3 kids ages 10-21. Dr. Gould was my kids PCP since they were born. In addition, my kids have seen by many providers at PMA. They have received care from Dr Budd, Dr Agee, Dr Lloren and a host of Physician Assistants whom have all been fantastic. Unfortunately, my son has been seen on a couple of instances by Dr Nutting who has a terrible bedside manner and is flat out rude. The first time we experienced his dismissive attitudw, we chalked it up to him having a bad day. However, when my son saw him again it was the same behaviour from Dr Nutring. We decided to avoid scheduling appointments with him. Today, I needed my son's inhaler refilled. My son's asthma is only triggered by sickness so he doesn't use it all the time. When he came home from school, he was coughing and a little wheezy as he is recovering from a cold. I looked to give him his inhaler, when I noticed that he was out. I called the pharmacy and they sent a request to PMA to refill his meds. The pharmacy never received the refill, so I called and got PMA's after hour line who said they would have the on call doctor, Dr. Nutting, call me. I received a call from Dr Nutting and sure enough, he was as dry and rude as ever. He scolded me for not bringing my son to the office and he told me I did not know what my son was experiencing. After explaining to him that I knew exactly what he was experiencing as he has had the same issue in the past and was prescribed the inhaler for this exact reason. I asked him what he suggested I do, he went on to lecture me before telling me if my son is in distress I should take him to urgent care. He ended up hanging up with not so much as a "goodbye". Since Dr. Nutting did not provide the refill for meds, I ended up taking my son to urgent care where he was seen by a kind capable physician who examined him and prescribed a refill for his inhaler. This could have all been avoided if Dr. Nutting would have refilled his meds."
"My son is almost 20 and has been seeing Dr. Gould since he was born. We’ve also seen Dr. Budd who has now retired but was excellent as well. The entire staff is amazing. I’m glad my son is comfortable still going there AND is welcomed by the staff."
"I’m writing this at 3am after quickly receiving a call back from Dr. Gould regarding a late-night fever issue that he gave terrific guidance on. And this isn’t the first time we’ve gotten called back quickly even very late at night (first time parents). Our visits with our primary, Dr. Budd, have always been thorough, informative, and unhurried starting with when he saw us in the hospital when our daughter was born. The same goes for the rest of the staff that we’ve encountered. Every visit is concluded with an invitation to stay and use the room as long as we need to do a feeding or comfort our baby after her shots. We are very pleased we made the choice to go with this group of doctors. I’m surprised they don’t have higher ratings as I feel like I’m getting very good service and advice. Ignore the 1-star reviews from people with billing issues and go with these folks."
