I discussed my son's concerns and the need for a referral, but the nurse practitioner appeared confused and decided to involve Dr. Alma Salazar. Dr. Salazar quickly examined my son and spent more time briefing her nurse practitioner on the diagnosis than explaining it to me. She didn't address my concerns or clarify the process or options, and it seemed like she was frustrated to have to step into the room. I have been coming to the doctor since my son was born 7 years and every time I go in it just seems like a different nurse practitioner is the one actually seen the patience."
