"I highly recommend Coastal Kids Irvine. The person who took my initial call was friendly, patient, and polite. They made scheduling easy and left a reminder call a couple of days before the appointment. The facility was very clean. The ladies at the front desk were busy but attentive. Dr. Bui was fabulous and answered all our questions. The rapport with my child was empathetic and friendly which is a good approach. The nurses made the atmosphere casual. It was a nice change of scenery far from the cold and distant feel of an institution. Thank you Dr. Bui."

"We have been attending Coastal Kids for 2 years now, both my children see Dr Kim and she is amazing. Also, the nurse practitioners are always so positive and treat my children with such kindness and care. I book all my appointments with Dr Kim in advance for well visits so I don't have any issues with availability. For last minute sick visits, it will be difficult to get your doctor of choice as they can be booked out however it is generally easy to get an appointment with another doctor at this location or another Coastal Kids location. All the doctors are experts and that's all you really need when a child is sick. Also, they make good notations on their computer system and Dr Kim is aware of any illnesses my children may have had between appts with her. I strongly recommend Coastal Kids, everyone there will treat your kids very well."

"I've been calling for two days for someone to call me back for my daughters test results. Every time I've call they keep telling me that some is going to call me before the end of the day and they never do. I've called them them 4 times and I get the same response. They tried to lie to me and say that someone called twice and left me a VM when they only left me one VM and I had called them back 7 mins after they had just called. Terrible service!"

"We love our Dr. However, having a good Dr means nothing if you can’t see her when kids actually get sick. This place used to be good a few yrs ago when we first started going, was able to see the Dr for sick visits, but now they’ve grown so much they exceeded their capability that we could never see the Dr when kids get sick. This is an update. I feel like the service here has gotten worse, I had to call multiple times to get a flu shot appt and each time I waited 20+ minutes, I even requested a call back and never got a call back. My son was recently sick and again couldn’t see the primary, saw a different dr and she told me to follow up with his primary the next day since she knows the history (my son has asthma induced by sickness and had a bad symptoms), anyways she was not available for next 3 days we checked so I ended up seeing other dr he’s never seen. His symptoms got worse and I called and left a msg for a nurse to call back and I never got a call back."

"In the past, I've had to reschedule my daughter's appointments with her pediatrician twice, with only one week's notice, due to unexpected unavailability on the part of Dr. Lee. It's worth noting that these appointments were scheduled six months in advance. During one of these rescheduled appointments, a different doctor filled in for Dr. Lee, and there was some confusion regarding Dr. Lee's notes. Specifically, it was unclear whether certain vaccinations had been administered or not. Unfortunately, despite these concerns, I haven't received the clarity I was hoping for, and it feels like we've been passed around from one person to another."
