AltaMed PACE- Westlake

"Check in 6 minutes late and you’ll have to wait over an hour. Nurses that call your name to bring you in are mispronouncing your name on purpose. I say on purpose because I have such a common last name it is impossible that you don’t know how to pronounce it. Oh ! and the reason I checked in 6 MINUTES after my appointment is because they have ONE nice lady checking people in so you have to stand in line and wait with the 50 other people checking in. But once you’re in there’s three receptionist just chit chatting and just one up front by the elevators doing all the work. I get that it’s mainly medical patients but man….you wait to check in , you wait to be called in, you wait for the DOCTOR in the room for another 25 minutes.!?!…….. why give us appointment times ?? The Doctors are great tho"

"based on my personal experience i will give it 4 stars. the rooms are clean and so are the bathrooms, i felt very safe. the waiting room is kind of small so if you have social anxiety i would recommend bringing something to help you relax. the waiting line was short for me but it was kind of long when i was leaving at 1pm so scheduling in the morning might be a better option if you are impatient. the staff was very friendly towards me and my doctor helped all my questions be answered. the only reason i did not give it five stars is because this is my first time going so i’m not sure if they are consistent, but they did schedule a follow up and continuously checked to make sure i was fine and understood what i was being told"

"I was told by the developmental pediatrician my daughter doesn’t have dmdd because she doesn’t look mad all day LOL. These doctors are a joke I didn’t know they go based on looks when it comes down to mental issues!"

"It's okay. Too much red tape. Doctors are good. Assistants, a little too indifferent."

"If it wasn’t already bad when the Dr’s office was located on Beverly/3rd, now that they’re in a bigger building is even worse. 45 mins and after checking in and no word from anyone until I went up to the front to ask. So disorganized. Poor customer service."
