"Great program, friendly and helpful management and staff"
"These “Affordable Housing” apartments are nice on the surface, but good luck trying to get into one. You can be on their waiting list for years and never get a unit when one is available because they call 3 people and turn it into a rat race. You see, the management wants a ton of paperwork and references. They expect your current and former landlords to fill out a questionnaire on you character and fax it back. This means your current landlord will know you’re shopping around for a new home. Once one of the 3 applicants verify and complete everything then the other 2 are told “sorry, you’ll go back on the list and have to repeat everything all over when called in the future for another opening.” Mercy Housings policies need to be changed. No other Tax-Credit Affordable Housing is this difficult."
