Reviews of Ravello Apartments
"I love this place. I have been here twelve years. The owner and his son are wonderful. And Daniel the resident manager is awesome. He is always there when you need him . I would recommend this complex to anyone. It's quiet and very maintained. If you ever have a chance to live here DO IT. You definitely won't regret it"
"Complex is maintained, workers come to pick up trash, blow away leaves, and do landscaping. Units get renovated as needed, but you can tell the buildings are getting old. Worth the price though. Water and trash/recycling are included in rent price. As of 9/27/23, I’m paying $1502/month for a 1-bed, 1-bath, approximately 700 sq ft, with in-unit washer/dryer. There’s shared washer/dryers for those without in-unit. Complex has a pool and hot tub. Lots of redwood trees which provide shade and make the complex seem sectioned off the area outside which isn’t as nice. You get 1 assigned parking spot, and there’s usually plenty of guest spots available before 7pm if you have another car. The manager Daniel is a good guy who is easy to contact if you have any issues. Issues I’ve had to call him for were leaking pipes (which he fixed the next day), smoker detector low battery (which he replaced immediately), and the bathtub leaking water (and he replaced the whole tub within a week)."
"I lived at Ravello for 8 years (2014 - 2022) and overall had a very positive experience. When I first moved in I was looking for a place that was quiet, peaceful, friendly, safe, affordable, and conveniently located. Ravello checked all the boxes back then and it still checked all of the boxes when I moved out. The first thing you'll notice about Ravello is the beautiful landscaping, tall redwood trees, and cleanliness of the grounds. It really is a diamond in the rough, considering the surrounding area leaves much to be desired. But within this gated community, and I do mean gated because the gates are actually closed unlike many other apartment complexes, it is very well-kept and walkable. The residents are friendly and respectful, with very few exceptions. There is a pool, spa, and BBQ that residents use from time to time, but it doesn't tend to get crowded to where it becomes a nuisance. Since the community is on the smaller side with 60 units, there is not a whole lot of activity or cars going in and out that would otherwise cause commotion or annoyance. The community feels safe and secure and outsiders stand out if they manage to wander in through a gate. Although homeless are in the immediate area outside the gates, I rarely have seen them rummaging through the trash thanks to the gates always being closed. Over the years there have been 3 different managers, all of whom have been great, but the last manager Daniel is really the best you could ask for. He responds quickly to your requests or concerns and you can tell he actually cares about them. He goes the extra mile to ensure residents' needs are taken care of. He personally handles maintenance requests and is very skilled so the job is done right. He also implements much needed improvements to the grounds, like expanding the paved areas to add parking capacity. He is very reasonable too, as he gave me my full deposit back even though after 8 years my unit was certainly not in the best condition, and he told me I didn't even need to worry about having the carpets cleaned! Simply put, Daniel is awesome. Overall I feel that this is a great place to live in Arden. If you're looking for a smaller quieter community that is pleasing to the eye and cared for by a respectable and hard working manager, then you won't go wrong with Ravello."
"We've been at Ravello for several years now and have really enjoyed the experience. All of the management throughout the years have been great, and the current management is no exception. Issues are resolved in a friendly manner and timely fashion. The complex is quiet and clean, and improvements occur reasonably frequently. The parking situation--although still not the best--has been greatly improved. A substantial project was completed recently that added almost 10 spots, making things much better in that aspect in most situations (when more guests than usual are here it gets harder, but it is what it is). And unfortunately there is no EV charging--if your parking spot is not right next to your apartment charging is not an option. I hope this changes soon though! Overall, Ravello has been a rather pleasant place to call home for the past years and look forward to it getting even better with upcoming improvements!"
"I loved living at Ravello apartments this last year. I would have stayed longer but I ended up buying a house in another city. The Ravello complex is very clean and located close to downtown Sacramento + Arden Fair Mall which was very convenient. I loved that there weren't a ton of apartment units all crammed together like so many other apartment complexes have. Ravello is smaller in size so it feels safer (it's gated) and has a quaint community feel to it. All of my neighbors were super friendly and the manager (Daniel) is very nice and quick to process paperwork to get you moved in, etc. A very reliable person, which was a nice relief since moving can be hard enough! He is also very knowledgeable in maintaining the grounds of the complex. The complex always looks neat & tidy. There are beautiful redwood trees throughout the complex which was really nice during my daily walks. You usually don't expect to see redwoods in the middle of Sac in an apartment complex! It gave it a peaceful feel. There is also a pool, hot tub, BBQ grill + dining area, and car washing station (a hose with sprayer on it), which I found useful. My apartment unit had just been renovated so it was all brand new appliances, flooring, bathroom, washer/dryer in the unit, etc. I loved it. Very cute. For units which don't have a washer/dryer in them (I think many have them), there is a secure (key entry) laundry room down by the pool. My 1 bedroom apartment had a surprising amount of storage (several closets with floor-to-ceiling mirrored closet doors), plus a large patio deck with an additional outside storage closet. Overall, I really enjoyed my time there and I miss it already!"
