Country Club Apartments

"The negative comments are either 1.) Years old when it was under different management. 2.) From someone who likely got kicked out for whatever reason and wants to retaliate. I've been here since 2019 and this place is night and day difference from when I got here. From new windows to new paint to freeing up parking spaces that were once covered by a homemade shed, an updated laundry room, and a repaved parking lot. Even the swimming pool was serviced and repainted. During the summer people swam in it which I hadn't seen since 2019 which the exception of a duck landing in it once..The property is always kept nice with regular landscaping as well as someone who goes around picking up any trash first thing in the morning. The new management here has been working on this place since day 1 and it shows. There is a maintenance crew here now that are quick to help when needed and I've seen someone picking up trash every morning. You can park your car knowing your catalytic converter won't be stolen overnight because of the security officers presence right next door. The atmosphere has changed for the better neighbors around me seem happy and I know I feel very good about having a place where the management cares about how the place looks. All in all I am satisfied with the place and don't see any reason to not stay here for the foreseeable future"

"Country club apartments is a wonderful, classic style apartments on Watt ave, it is always very clean and employees are very courteous and respectful. I highly recommend. They keep a good eye on Pops for me as well and that important to me."

"I have lived here for about 4 years. When I first moved in they were roach infested We have a new manager who is really fixing up the place. He put new windows in all units. Painted the exterior. Got the fountain going. Has a mowing and grounds crew come every week. He also got rid of all the drug dealers and such. He is really nice and if you have a problem with your unit he will work on it right away. He also hired security services. He actually moved in here and he wants a nice place to live. .. They are small but they have a good environment to live in."

"It is a beautiful place. I know there has been allot of changes and improvement. When management changed about a year ago , this past year things have gotten so good. Yes some people think its cosmetic but that's fine. It is cosmetic as it is not required but the new paint makes the place more alive again. Landscaping is green and lush which helps with fire hazard etc. It is much quieter and actually most the tenants live here are respectful and enjoy there home. At least for me I am more than satisfied. Like any and all places you live not everyone can be happy but we all choose to make our home the way we want our home to be and feel."

"Whoever is posting this and creating this listing is misleading people. It has rodent and infestation issue of roaches and rodents. Its has lead paint, mold in the walls as well as asbestos, Most of the units are not up to date like the ones in the pictures Id imagine this is one of the employee units rather then the one you'll get. I don't this this is a accurate or fair depiction. They have painted the outside of the building and doors, painted the mailboxes, painted the gates around the pools and even painted the cement around the pools to make it look fresh and new. There are still sewage issue and electric issues that are of little concern to the manager. Most of the units have old counter tops, appliances shelves in them. They do not follow through with maintenance and if you try to hold them accountable they pull fear tactics and most likely will evict you for unjust reasons as Ive been told. I live here still. So i i know what I'm talking about I'm just trying to save you the trouble.Most everyone here is paying between 750 and 1000. So why they are trying to squeeze 1350 out f people is beyond me.They have shut down one of the laundry shacks so they could turn it into a laundry spot for only employees only. They also threw in a fridge, table and chair so they can kick back in peace and luxury while the rest of the 200 plus tenants fight over the 3 washer and 4 dryers left in the other laundry shack. The manager has implemented a tell on your neighbor policy "snitch rule" So if you tell on your neighbors take video and picture and provide proof they will give you some credit towards rent instead of hiring full time 24/7 security as we need it. This is a place that makes you feel like a second class citizen and I really wouldn't recommend unless you have no other options like most of us. Save yourself the time, energy and heartache and go somewhere else. Oh not to mention also they recently are requiring all tenants to have renters insurance. Don't get me wrong probably a good thing but i feel like its so they can make frivolous claims of damage by us tenants and try to come up but that is just speculation. Id recommend going down the street. Where they actually give you what you pay for. Ever since COVID property owners and other like this feel they can gouge people and take advantage of everyone that lost their homes and need a place to live like this and its disgusting. You might think I'm an angry tenant but I'm not. I just accept the facts of day to day living here"
