"Academy 65 is an amazing place to live as they always have fun activities that residents can attend to. The lobby and elevators are always very clean, as it’s cleaned so often. The staff are very helpful and they are quick to fix any maintenance problems you may be having. I would recommend these apartments to any college students as it’s extremely close to campus. meeting other students is made much easier due to all of the activities they have. Overall I have had a great experience here at Academy 65!!"

"Worst apartment in the area! Do not I REPEAT DO NOT LEASE WITH THIS APARTMENT. The people that work here are garbage and borderline RACIST. I have seen many black residents dispute claims by white residents and no matter the claim they always get charged. Parking does not exist the hot tub is always broken and the people who work in the office have no respect for their black residents. screw academy 65 go LIVE AT THE WEXLER. I hope everyone in this office ceases to exist. They do not belong on this planet due to their disrespectful and uncaring nature. Terrible people who charge you 259 minimum any time there’s an issue"

"Renting here might seem to be a budget friendly option, but later on you have to pay extra fees taken from your deposit. Initially, I signed the lease for a master bedroom. Only a few weeks before move in date, they called me saying that the room is gone due to wrong duplicate lease generation and they only have one standard room to offer me. I had no option to accept given the short amount of time. I lived in a 4bed 4bath unit and the common area (living room and kitchen and hallways) was a shared space. They made me to clean the big apartment all on my own (cost of time and cleaning supplies) because simply the other three roommates lease ended two weeks earlier than mine. When I complained, the answer was "since your lease ended a few weeks later, you are totally responsible for cleaning everything." UNBELIEVABLE!!!! They did not get back my deposit when I left and they did not check the apartment before I move out. After a month, I emailed them asking about my deposit and they mailed me a check with amount $500 less than what I paid as deposit. When I emailed them asking for reasons, they answered that they have charged me for oven cleaning ($50 each room, $200 total for cleaning an oven!!!!) and carpet cleaning. They cleaned and renewed the carpet of all the rooms without any charge to the residents, except mine (more than $400) claiming that there were marks on the carpet of my room. Positive things about this place is its' fitness center, and its location at the vicinity of campus."

"This apartment is budget-friendly; I paid around $1200 per month, utilities included. However, the professionalism is severely lacking. Unexplained charges are common, and the $125 parking fee feels unreasonable, especially since the gate has been broken for months, compromising vehicle security. The assigned roommates tend to be untidy and noisy. Moving before the contract ends requires finding a replacement, and even transferring to another apartment demands finding a new tenant for your room. I chose not to renew due to the subpar services. Upon moving out, I was surprised to be charged a minimum of $500 for carpet replacement and cleaning, despite leaving my room in pristine condition. Attempts to communicate with them are met with delayed responses, often coinciding with their frequent vacations. While this option might suit those seeking affordability, my personal experience left me dissatisfied. Notably, parking is a major issue, with only 2-hour street parking available, causing inconvenience for visitors."
