"At This apartment Rent is too high for everything to be broken and the trash/food/bones on the ground. Staff is nice but washing machines in unit and on site laundry broken all the time. This is the second time our washer has broke down and last time had to way 3.5 weeks for it to be fixed and this time we are going on a week. And the dog park still not safe for dogs. It’s right by the freeway off ramp and large dogs can still get under the fence even where the “fixed it”. Not fix just lazy cheap mesh to make it look fixed! I’m highly disappointed in these apartments and just waiting for the day we can leave for good! P.S scared to post I don’t want them coming after me for this but this is my experience and every this is true."
"Unprofessional/Shady last Thursday I called to follow up on my app. I spoke with Gabrielle (the leasing manager) at that time and she told me I passed my screening and she was waiting on my boyfriend's screening to come in.Once his screening came in she told me the next step would be her emailing us the lease and the payment portal so we could get the deposit paid and the apartment taken off the market until our move in date. Friday,Saturday, and Monday morning I DID NOT hear from them so I called Monday afternoon. now when I speak to Gabby all of a sudden there's an income issue. keep in mind they have all the paperwork they needed(including proof of income). If there was a problem why didn't I hear about this problem Thursday,Friday, Saturday,or Monday morning. if this was a real issue why didn't Gabby bring it up Thursday or go as far as to tell me what our next step was once his screening came back. Gabby said she would make a decision by 4:30 and call.I'm still waiting on that phone call. I understand if you choose another applicant but don't lie to get out of it and keep people in limbo until they figure it out themselves.SHADY SHADY SHADY!"
"As a resident, reading these low reviews is very disturbing. We need to have patience with every new management because they are either in training or trying to grasp on things that were not done or in process of getting fixed. Our new Property Management, Gabrielle, has been handling situations in a professional manner and a priority list of issues to address that previous management left incomplete plus new issues that arrives. I know this because sitting with her for 5 minutes, she is constantly taking incoming phone calls and putting out fires. My daughter has encountered Danielle, in the office that can be very helpful as well. I must give my hat off to our maintenance crew, Andrew, who is running with his head chopped off but please understand how the system works. If parts need to be ordered to fix a problem, it has to go through the process of approval. Andrew has to put a request to purchase any part, then waits for the approval to purchase or to pick up a part, that requires a purchase order to buy. Sometimes a part is not in stock with an approved vendor. The approval process is between Corporate, Property Management and then to the maintenance to pursue. Now, if there is a major renovation, it can get complicated because professionals have to give a quote of what is expected to fix a problem and again go through the corporate office for approval. A purchase order is given to get that job done, sometimes in house maintenance or outside source. But, there is always an element of surprise that can occur, which requires additional approval. Ask the right questions and it will be answered. As residents, we break a lot of rules. I read reviews about a lot of situations that is not only management faults. Like the main gate is always broken. Stop hitting or jumping over the gates when closed. Once you notice the gate is not working, put a maintenance request. Simple! Residents complained about memos being set out as if management doesn´t care about fixing maintenance issues. Management sends out memoś because there was a complaint reported. I read a review how our neighbors are fighting and management does nothing about it. This is apartment living and there will be arguments, but if you feel itś life threatening or physical, call the police. Then notify management you had to call the police. You might think that management is not doing nothing but management can´t evict a tenant by arguing with someone in their own household. If legal actions need to be taken, this is not to be discuss this with you, unless you are called in for witness. These matters are handled delicately and not everyone has selective word choices. My suggestion is to move where you will be comfortable living. Residents, we can all do a better job in maintaining our communal areas like the pool, the doggy park, the grounds, the laundry room and fitness room. Our manager does not have time to address issues that you should have read in your contract and signed. Example: All dogs on leashes, quiet time, no smoking on property, etc... Read your contract We need the management team to focus on managing the property by addressing the maintenance issues, recruiting new friendly respectable tenants, collecting rents and monitor expenses. Be respectful and you will be treated with respect. Letś do our part to clean up after ourselves and follow the rules."
"As a current resident of The Davenport, I feel compelled to share my experience with the management team. While they send out friendly emails requesting reviews and promising to make our home comfortable, my personal experience has been quite different. When issues arose with the electricity and roofing, I reached out to management for help and was met with empty promises and no follow-up. Despite their assurances to compensate me for the inconvenience and damage caused by their negligence, nothing was ever done. This left me feeling unvalued and unimportant, like I was only there to pay rent each month. To add insult to injury, the rent is already quite high, yet the washing machines and dryers in the laundry room are consistently out of order. It's frustrating to pay so much for rent and not have access to basic amenities. On top of that, my interactions with management have been less than pleasant. Their attitude towards me was rude and snarky, making me feel like an annoyance rather than a valued resident. In addition to my disappointment with The Davenport's management, I am also concerned about potential repercussions for leaving an honest review. As a resident who pays rent on time and abides by the rules, it's disheartening to feel like expressing my concerns may lead to negative consequences when it comes time to renew my lease. I hope that The Davenport takes my feedback seriously and uses it to improve their management practices, rather than punishing me for being honest. As a paying resident, I deserve to have a comfortable and respectful living environment, and I hope that The Davenport will work towards providing that for all of its residents. Edit: Additionally, I attempted to reach out to the parent company in hopes of sharing my experience with executive management. However, despite being told that someone would contact me, I never received a response. It appears that neither the management team at The Davenport nor their parent company value customer feedback or take it seriously."
"I’ve lived here for about 4 years now and it has been a completely terrible experience. The first year and a half were ok, but then the management constantly started to change. No one is going to come fix any of your things if they break. I’ve had to replace multiple things BY MYSELF in an apartment that is largely overpriced. The neighbors fight all the time, the security gate is constantly broken, and the laundry room is always filthy. It’s a matter of fact I went into there recently and it seems as if a homeless person took used the rest room (number 2) on the floor. No one responded to my email about it. Instead they got someone to literally “go pick it up.” They didn’t even bother to mop the place to get the stench out. Oh btw they will tow your car even if it is in the spot that yo have been assigned to, and you will be held responsible. The only reason that I gave 1 star was because I couldn’t put 0."
