Green Isle Park 900 Greene Avenue, Allouez, WI 54301

"Used to be 5 stars and a wonderful park. The trails are great and the animals were everywhere. After the construction in 2023 on the highway overlooking the park and the increased traffic, the noise pollution is out of hand. You can barely hear the dawn chorus at all in the park due to how loud everything has become. There were less animals toward the end of last year than there have been typically and the families of deer that usually move into the park have moved more toward the allouez avenue area and crossing that street. There really needs to be some kind of sound barrier- it used to be louder just at a certain point in the trail directly under 172, now the noise carries over the water and is constant — it is a noticeable change over the last ten years but when the wind stems from the southwest it is especially bad. Also the “workout” section they put in off the trail is an incredible waste of money. Unweighted machines that people play on the same as a jungle gym where there used to be additional field for soccer or football, etc…"

"A great event at Green Isle Park…Barktoberfest! Bring your pup, have a beer and there’s food!!! Many vendors, a taco truck what could be better on this beautiful day!"

"This park is great, no matter what you want to do in the outdoors. There are wonderful trails to walk, plenty of benches to rest on and a nice indoor area you can rent to hold events. They have tennis courts, a play area for kids, basketball courts, soccer fields, baseball diamonds and in the winter a skating rink most years. I probably forgot a few things as well, so go explore the park yourself!"

"We took our engagement photos here and we haven't gotten our professional ones, but the ones our engagement party took turned out amazing. The park is huge and beautiful!! Highly recommended for photos and fun."
