"Most things are very good about this park but one thing Mt son hates going because of there basketball hoops they need new rims he says"
"Nice venue for so many activities like swimming, tennis, basketball and a great playground."
"Wow!!! I didn't even know this place existed. It's so spacious, I feel safe with my kids and the park is clean. The bathroom is well maintained, and the pool area is perfect for the whole family. I just wish they had longer hours. Otherwise, this place exceeds my expectations."
"Great park. I wish there were a couple of picnic tables with smaller grills for those of us who can only grill at parks and don't want to take the space of a whole pavilion. They are great, but can you add a couple of small grills in scattered spots???"
"VFW Park in DePere is a great place to swim, play tennis, or Pickleball. The Park has a great swimming pool with a high slide, high dive, and a separate wading area for small children. Come early if you want to get in or you may have to wait because only so many are allowed in at a time. Seemed like the wait may have been 1/2 hour or less as there are classes that end and swimmers leave after class. There is a challenging area where you walk across inner tubes if you can. Lots of lifeguards. You can buy snacks from the poolside or outside the pool. Well managed."
