Reviews
"Don’t love the prices, or the $5 card minimum. But it’s convenient."
"Always fair prices and very convenient when I lived across the street"
"Went to this place off and on for about two and a half years while living at 215 Oak Grove. The staff are all friendly and it is a damn shame that one of them will no longer be there to provide excellent services. I think the veggies they had in their small refrigerated section came from the late Robert Skafte, who was tragically murdered here December 8, 2023. This small business as of this writing is temporarily closed until further notice but being here over 100 years, it has survived two pandemics, a world war, 9/11 and the Great Recession of 2008-09 and the Great Depression. This small business should live on (I hope)."
"Me and my good friend went there couple weeks ago first time. We called ahead for item, they had it waiting for us when we arrived."
"Moved a few months ago right next to this place and was super excited because I much prefer a small business taking my $$$ than a mega corporation like Target. They are a small grocery store so they don't have everything but they are great for grabbing some frozen foods, snacks, drinks, and cigarettes plus they have some odds and ends like incense and tools. The older gentleman that is always the only one I see working here is very chill and polite. Thanks for being nearby when I need bread or milk and for being there when there is a blizzard and everything is closed down because I am the worst at being prepared for snow weather and groceries"
