"I give them 5 stars because they are improving a lot. Even in the shirt year I have been with them they have changed a lot. They have been under new management for a little while and they just finished putting new boxes in for mail. They might do a full remodel soon, we shall see."
"I have to start off by praising Ana, Ciarra, Paul and the maintenance team! This is my first time moving into an apartment and I am so grateful to have come across this little community. Now is it perfect? No, of course not. Is the rent a little too high? Well of course but this is the absolute best deal around! I keep a positive attitude because the team has always been so helpful and understanding in any issues. Had an issue with our deadbolt one day and stopped by the office to ask what we needed to do. Ciarra explained how we could request maintenance on the app but she immediately sent maintenance back with us to replace the deadbolt. I feel safe in this community being next to the courthouse, sheriffs and CHP. Will we see more police activity in this area? I mean duh, what do you expect. Additionally, Paul has always had an exceptional attitude and amazing customer service so I give props to Ana for her team. Thank you guys for making me feel welcomed in the community!"
"Whatever you do, if you think you might get turned down for an apartment, DO NOT PUT A HOLDING DEPOSIT DOWN. It took over 60 days to get my deposit back. I had to call and email many times, half the time I was ignored."
"Lived here for 2 years and hot tub has been broken 24/7 & pool is ice cold. Complete waste of money. Might as well live somewhere without pool/spa to save rent, this place doesn’t maintain their facilities. Laundry is always broken and has a laundry card system that steals money. Do not recommend if you have other options. 1/10"
"I moved into this complex January 2021 into a very basic one bedroom apartment for $1500 a month with an additional $300 a month for all utilities. Moving out in July 2022 that same apartment is now listed for $2400. Call this inflation, recession or anything you’d like but the value of living here did not increase by almost $1000 in less than two years. Besides attracting a general lower class of tenets who refuse to pick up after their dogs, leave the laundry room an unusable mess, and make no attempt to ensure their trash stays inside a bag much less place it all in a dumpster, the management here does very little to improve on its many flaws. Ana in the front office is rude, unpleasant, and very difficult to work with. I moved out of my apartment three weeks before our official move out date with the office and was planning on returning the last week to clean our apartment and leave the keys. When I arrived the locks had been changed and my keys no longer worked. When I asked the front office about this they claimed to have no idea why this would happen and lied about the locks being changed. They also claimed their master key was not working and therefore we would have to with for the lock to be drilled out. Looking through the window it was obvious that maintenance had already begun painting and altering various aspects of our apartment without our permission. After returning the next three days to attempt to get in to no avail, on the fourth day, one day before our official move out, we were finally able to get in. We found maintenance had also either piled or discarded our remaining personal belongings including our post office keys which they did not have a copy of and we were forced to wait weeks to receive our mail. Ana then informed us we would need to pay a cleaning fee despite us having attempted on four different occasions to enter our apartment that was legally ours to clean that prior week. It has now been three months since our move out and we are still have not received our security deposit check despite being told multiple times it has already been mailed. The office’s only response now is to “contact the corporate office because it’s out of our control.” Do yourself a favor and do not live here. Update: Our security deposit check was received on 10/6, three full months after move out. Our original deposit was $1000 and we received $246 of it with no explanation, itemized list of the “damages” or costs. Soft Wind Point is a low class, unprofessional apartment complex and should be avoided at all costs."
