"This complex is the worst. I stayed in many different apartment complexes and this one is the worst of all. I couldn’t stay here for more than a month and I’m glad I was able to do month-to-month rent where I was able to move out immediately. The leasing agents change their attitude once you decide to move out. At first they were extremely nice and helpful. At move out the leasing agent that rented me the apartment was very rude, unhelpful and kept giving me angry stares when returning my keys and asking her questions regarding my deposit. Wouldn’t recommend this apartment complex."

"Read the reviews (most of them bad) and still decided, heck let's still give them the benefit of the doubt, right? Wrong! A year later and boy did I wish I listened to them. It all started the very first day of move in, the layout they showed us is NOT the one we got and we were not told that until the DAY OF MOVE IN, great right? We were catfished, apartment edition. You're not allowed to have grills (didn’t bother me much), only allowed to use the 2 grills they provide by the pool but you'll be lucky to even get one especially if it even works. No assigned parking either (didn't care for much, thought it was actually pretty cool) until, there is no parking to be found anywhere! Most of these cars don't even have a sticker, half of them are "reserved" and then motorcycles take up a a quarter of them (don't have anything against motorcycles, my brother owns one but still). The cops don't patrol the lots (like they said) seen them here less than 7 times in the entire year I've been here. Laundry facility is always dirty!! They "remodeled" it and a week later, the "tenants" stole more than half the things. No one ever picks up their dog’s feces so beware where you step. The water has been shut off more than 15 times during the entire year, at first they wouldn't even warn you until tenants started complaining (well, why else would they start notifying us right?). Management shouldn’t even be called management, snobby, prissy females that won’t listen to anything unless it’s the sound of their own voices. The ONLY upside is that all the stores are walking distance, that's it. These apartments are not worth the almost 1700 (everything is seperate) for a one bedroom you pay for. I absolutely hate giving bad reviews but boy was this necessary. Please save yourself a drive and look somewhere else. Trust me."

"This complex is run down. People throw their trash next to the dumpster, not IN the dumpster. There are shootings there as well. Management is rude and uncooperative. The apartment manager will try and not return your deposit for such things as roof leaks, dishwasher failure and leaks. Pay $1200 for a studio? Not in this dump. The rails have wood rot and termites. I could seriously go on for a page and a half. Do yourself a favor and keep looking. There are better places deep in the ghetto."

"I love love love Living in Pepperwood, I look at the reviews and get surprised because I've had nothing but a great experience living here. Never had bed bugs, never had roaches, and never had any problem with my request with the staff. I hope that anyone who has been living here or does live here is able to communicate with staff because they are hard-working and do do a great job with assisting the tenants. The area that we live in is very convenient and is safe for children. The pool setup and barbecue area is very nice and the pool is always clean. I honestly love living here."
