"Car damaged over 1k in damages in own assigned parking spot and car vandalized again with management disregarding safety if you want to pay rent and randomly wake up to the danger of your property being damaged and costing you more money with no help this is the place for you only thing regular here is the tow truck coming in and the homeless in the laundry room at night."
"I had a unique experience when I attempted to help my young nephews apply for this apartment complex. My wife and I decided to help our two nephews look for apartments and our first stop of the day was Sycamore Ridge before heading to about 6 or 7 different locations. My nephews are 18 and 19 years old and both attend the community college in the area. Since this would be their first time looking for a home of their own, my wife and I decided we were going to offer to be cosigners if they were unable to qualify on their own. To paint the picture a little better before I move on, I am a 42 year old white male and my wife is a 40 year old Hispanic female and my two nephews are African American. When we arrived to the leasing office Saturday morning at approximately 10:30 am, the office appeared to be closed. We looked though the office windows and didn't see anyone inside and the doors were locked. We were a little confused because on the website it had shown that the office should have been open at 10 am. We decided to wait by the entrance of the office because we thought that maybe one of the leasing agents may had taken a break or were showing an apartment to potential residents. This also gave us some time to figure out what apartment complex we were going to look at after we applied at this one. After about 10 minutes of waiting, we saw two men enter the back side of the interior of the leasing office. One was a Hispanic male in his 30's to 40's and the other was a white male in his late to mid 50's. My wife and I watched them move around though the office but they did not come off as leasing agent types but more like maintenance workers or something like that. We tried to wave them down but they kind of looked at us and ignored us and they left the office through the same door that they entered. It had been a solid fifteen minutes that we were there and we decided that we should just move on considering we had a long day ahead of us, so we began to walk back to our car. Just as we were leaving the front of the office area, the white male that we saw that was inside the office a few minutes prior came from around the corner of the building and was walking towards us in an aggressive manner. We thought that he was coming to help us with either leasing information or at least tell us that the office was closed. He approached me and my wife since we happened to be closer to him from where he had come from. The first thing he said was that he had called the cops. My wife and I were a little confused. We tried to ask him what for but he appeared to be very disturbed and was very rude. He began asking why were there and if we lived there and that we were not allowed to be loitering on the property. My wife, who had worked in social services for years as well as human resources, tried explaining to the man why we were there but he wasn't really giving her the attention and it appeared that the man didn't care what explanation she would have given him. The man continued to stare at my two nephews who were standing next to our car at this point about 30 feet behind me and my wife. He asked me, who are they? Pointing in the direction of my two nephews. I told him that they are my nephews and explained everything my wife had tried explaining to him. The man was still physical upset and at this point my wife and I were very uncomfortable with the whole situation. The man did open the office door and let us in but the experience had already transpired. My wife and I followed the man in the office and when I entered, two Hispanic females came out of the same interior door the man had come though earlier with the Hispanic male. They immediately appeared to be leasing managers and began apologizing for our experience, the man walked away and never apologized or came back to us. The two female agents explained to my wife and I that about 15 minutes prior to us arriving, they were assaulted by someone so they locked themselves in the back office and called the property own. (Out of Space). #racisim/judgement is out there."
"Absolute roach infested and extortion nightmare! Do not live her nor should you think their countless replies on google reviews are in any way an attempt to rectify their terrible management, they do it strictly for legal reasons. I kept my apartment absolutely spotless and I had an infestation of cockroaches the likes of which were vomit enduring within a month. To make matter worse, I was charged double my security deposit when I finally moved out for “carpet replacement” there wasn’t a single stain or blemish on my carpets! Not to mention the invoice came from a business in Bressi ranch that DOES NOT EXIST! Much less a professional carpet cleaning service or property management company! Bottom line: DO NOT MOVE HERE!!"
"I currently live here and have since September 2014. The laundry facilities are card operated which I love. The office staff is always friendly when I go in. I agree with other reviews about poor parking at night, but 1 spot is assigned with each apartment. We did have 1 incident shortly after moving here with my boyfriend's car getting broken into, thankfully the towing company was here and was able to get the plate from their car (sad there was never a response from the office such as an apology). However that has not affected our experience here, we enjoy it and renewed our lease when it was up. When we renewed the lease our rent did increase $50. We have not used the tennis court or pool yet."
"I've been living here for almost a year in an upstairs unit. I've actually had some pretty good experiences here so far. Parking outside of your select parking spot can be a bit rough, but expected with not many open spots. My fridge broke down and management replaced it by the next day, which was pretty easy. I haven't had any problems with other neighbors and they are generally pretty quiet. Pros - - Laundry facilities are easily accessible and clean. Nobody messes with your stuff. - Pools and Tennis are 24 hours - Neighbors are generally nice, minus typical unmonitored children - Dog friendly - Rent prices aren't too bad - Maintenance seems pretty prompt when I've had an issue. Cons - - Late at night, people seem to use Sycamore Ave as a drag strip. - Management does not understand different types of dogs. - Parking can be a bit rough outside of your assigned spot Overall, I'd actually recommend the place."
