"I haven’t lived here for over a year and can finally bring myself to put into words the awfulness that is Pacific Sun. What an absolutely horrible place to live. We lived there during COVID and children were banned from basically existing. Don’t bounce balls, no chalk on sidewalk, no being outside basically. We even got a lease violation for our 3 year old being on his bike as he rode it to the sidewalk along the busy street cause that was the only place he was allowed to ride it. We received notices on our door for every punitive thing you could imagine. We were on the manager’s bad side and she found any opportunity to make our lives hell. The best day was the day we could leave that hell hole behind and my kids could go back to being kids. The cheap rent was not worth the torture that living here brought us. Choose at your own risk."
"They dont even deserve 1 star!!!! I had a nightmare of a experience living here. I would never refer this apartment to even my worst enemy. It is nearly impossible to find parking and dont expect to get an extra spot the waiting list is years. The parking situation is so horrible that people tend to park on the street in the red zones and it makes it hard to pull out safely. There was even mention from a reporter who stopped by my apartment saying that one woman and her baby had gotten into a fatal car crash on our very same street pulling out, which I can say has almost happened to me when I moved in due to the people parking in red and the blind spots that are created as a result. Very ghetto part of vista, lots of homeless people who hangout nearby. Have had neighbors/ gangmembers fighting and investigators questioning us about the incidents. Laundry room isent safe, laundry, pillows have gotten stolen"
"This is a decent place in the San Diego area. They did a nice job of fixing the place out before I moved in but there were some " structural quote issues. The front door is not precisely square and I'm being nice. There was no front glass to the stove when I moved in. The paint was clearly way too thick and never allowed to dry. Overall though this is a clean and quiet place. I would recommend to others Update: all of my issues were resolved but it did take some time. Once again I would recommend this place to others"
"Read before applying: If I could leave zero stars, I would. Do not waste your time trying to work with "management" at this property. They are extremely rude and unprofessional, and have no understanding about the rental application process. They are inappropriate with applicants AND former landlords listed on your application. They requested photos of my co-applicants social security card to be emailed to their representative's email who is still in training - not submitted through the application server. When they called my listed contact for rental history, they did not identify themselves, said "who is this" as an introduction, then proceeded to argue with them when they would not give them information because they refused to identify themselves and the purpose of the call properly. Mind you, the person they called (my father) is a registered broker and asked them several questions about their review process, codes and registration which management they did not know the answer to. They will cut you off mid-sentence, scoff at you if you have questions, and get argumentative, defensive, and litigious if you bring up their behavior. They hung on me when I told them I wanted to withdraw my application because of the way they spoke to my contacts on the phone. Current management has been reported to the Better Business Bureau. The owner of the property has opened an investigation. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON APPLICATIONS AND HOLDING FEES."
"My apartment was robbed , being here for 3 months. They have patrol cars but they look like crack heads to me. My garage was broken into and they took all my bags out of my car. Its a OK place to live temporary. Not a great place to call a permanent home. Not all tenant pay utilities ( WATER/ SEWAGE) this is unfair housing, I will be filing in a complaint regarding that BS. Management can think they can pick and choose to screw families that might not know the renters state laws , but not me. Having family that have real state. This matter needs to be addressed. give a 2 stars because rent decent for N. San Diego and you get a garage, they keep the grounds of the property clean, but the parking is horrible. You can't have guest bc there is no place for them to park."
