"This review is solely on the management of this property. Having a leasing office employee as a neighbor really sucks. Irene is entitled to do as she please because her mother or grandmother (Sally) works in the office. Irene has violated the no noise policy on numerous occasions. For the past couple of weeks Irene plays her music or TV LOUD between the hours 10pm-6am disturbing the peace of her surrounding neighbors. Irene has been addressed several times that her music or tv is too loud . One encounter with Irene, a male walked out of her apartment flashing a gun and proceed to throw threats. Despite the efforts to diffuse the situation the violation of the policy continued. Irene was addressed again about the noise the one night and responded, “I’m playing this on my phone and I can play my music as loud as I want to.” Again despite me telling her about my concern she continued to repeat the same offense that same night, again disturbing the peace. I guess because she related to office staff, that gives her the power to disrupt the peace any time she chooses. I hope current residents see this review and will report the noise violation because my voice is not being heard. IDK what else to do, my son is sleeping in class due to disrupted sleep, it's beginning to affect my household in many ways. The parking assignments are horrible if you have a two car household, only 1 sticker per spot, the inconsiderate leasing office staff, makes this place questionable. I would think twice before choosing this place as your next spot to live. Don't let the cheap rent fool you, it comes with a price."

"Worst place to rent from. They raise the rent every year and nothing has changed, if anything it’s gotten worse. Now there’s new parking assignments and you have to park clear on the other side of the property when there are spots right in front of your apartment. Maintenance takes forever to do any repairs and the office staff Sally and Irene have the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. 0/10"

"my reviews are being deleted for a reason. last year around november we inquired with sally (office manager)and IRENE (reception) about my boyfriend and i moving in ASAP she assured me she would help me with a possible move in date on 12/01/2022. I turned in all the required documents within 2 days of our call and by monday 11/28/2023 she refused to speak to us in person after she called my boyfriend to tell us they were not running our application due our paystubs being "fake." I was baffled. I went into the office to pick up or so called "fake paystubs" and requested to speak to her or someone higher than her. the receptionist IRENE refused for us to speak with SALLY when she was literally sitting in her office on her phone! and that there was no number for HR or some other manager! We took our HARD EARNED MONEY somewhere else and got an instant approval at PepperTree Place and we have been here since 12/2022. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO LIVE HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE LABELED AS A LIAR AND A FRAUD. THAT FEELING IS HORRIBLE AND I HOPE NOONE ELSE GETS TO EXPERIENCE. SALLY AND IRENE SHOULD NOT WORK WITH THE PUBLIC IF THEY MAKE PEOPLE MAKE FEEL LIKE THIS SHAME OF YOU!"

"Unfortunately I have to change my review. The apartments are under new ownership, and everything has gone bad. If there was an option to leave no stars i would, but feel it necessary to post something as a warning. Upkeep on the apartments has decreased significantly. With the lack of care by new management, bug problems have returned. Water/Gas is frequently turned off due to leaks on the property, Trash areas are all uncovered, and often overflowing with trash making making the area smell and trash to overflow into the surrounding areas. There is no security at all offered in the complex. I had my vehicle stolen just a few feet from my door in the middle of the night. In addition to that, there is no help from management on anything. I have requested motorcycle parking, offered to park my car and motorcycle in the same space , or offered to pay for an additional permit to prevent my motorcycle from being stolen again, however I was told I had to park it on the street. Overall, management has no concern for their residents, their well-being, or their safety. Sad to see such a change."

"I have lived at Garden Estates for over 11 years. I've been with them through 4 or so management changes and so many office workers and I'm going to say this: I have read a bunch of reviews and while some singular negative experiences of people are expected, this place is not as bad they make it seem. The current group especially is pretty good. I have had my rent increased on me from under 600 to just over 800 in all that time, and while I prefer the latter, that's not too bad of an increase given it was over an 11 year period of time. Any issues I have they take care of, anything I have needed has been done. Do i have nitpicks? Sure, but this is an old apartment complex with old rooms and old features. The current staff is doing the best they can with what they have. This place works for me. It's better kept up than it was a decade ago, it feels safer around here; cleaner. I have enjoyed my time here. Plus there are so many places that can accessed by a short walk - food, groceries, convenience stores, it has a good location that the town appears to want to improve so the area feels better too. If you have issues, talk with the office, they seem eager to help."
