"NO PARKING!!!!!!!!!!!! I’d like to start by saying the apartments themselves are amazing. The community is beautiful and the finishes/appliances within the units are top notch. Unfortunately, that is completely overshadowed by the lack of parking. They screwed up in planning this place because there’s nowhere near enough parking spaces. There is no room for guest parking because the 15 or so spaces they have for guests are always being used by people who live here. Guests or residents with multiple cars are expected to park in the cul de sac OUTSIDE THE GATED PROPERTY, but that’s always full too!! So what’s your choice? Park at the grocery store parking lot and walk/Uber to your apartment. What a joke!!!"
"If I could give a ZERO I would! Lived here for 4 years and at first it was great until they changed management after the 1st year, after that it was chaotic the remainder of our stay. We never felt secure with anything living here because every concern that was addressed was ignored, from the homeless people to break ins, poor communication and parking issues just to name a few. Management is rude and very unprofessional and have no regards for tenants safety as homeless people became tenants in the community. We were approached on many occasions by a homeless man and woman that lived under the stairs for 3 years and all we were told by corporate and management is to basically protect yourself cause there’s nothing they could do about it. Security is a joke! Let’s be honest, they did nothing, they don’t even patrol the area none what so ever. And let’s not talk about how we have the maintenance workers on video drinking on the job, cases of beers while fake cleaning empty units. I’m not sure if this is the topper but management was stealing tenants mail and using their information to rent units to complete strangers. So BE WARE! Then to top it off ONE WEEK EXACTLY before our move date after being there for 4 years someone breaks into our garage and the office did nothing saying they had know video footage of anything when there’s a camera on the building facing the garages. I believe the break ins on the premises are an inside job coming from maintenance because there’s never any footage and they never know anything. If you like throwing away all your hard earned money then go right ahead and sign up here!!!! I used to watch cars get the windows busted out almost everyday and the office did nothing for the people so eventually a lot of people started moving out because of the break ins and cars being broken into. And good luck addressing anything with corporate they all stick together. Don’t let the luxury term fool you! If I could stop everyone at the front gate to tell them not to rent here I would!"
"Trails at Canyon Crest has been a lovely place to live for the last two years. The nature preserve is beautiful, and it is close to shopping and groceries. The apartments are well appointed, with nice laminate floors and a great pool/gym area. However, we have two items that we feel we must warn prospective tenants. First, we had several items stolen from our garage during our stay, including some valuable hiking gear. These areas are poorly secured, and strangers often roam around in the AM and evening. Second, the lease termination fee really soured our experience. We understand it is part of the contract, but two months rent penalty for breaking the lease is usurious! It is out of all proportion to any other place that we have lived in Southern California. After two years in this community, to be expected to pay thousands of dollars in termination fees is unacceptable. For this reason, we suggest considering a community with fewer penalties."
"WHY THIS APARTMENT MIGHT BE THE PERFECT FIT FOR YOU: An honest review and explanation of the parking situation As you may have noticed, most of the negative reviews for this complex centers around the lack of parking. I'll try my best of clarify the parking situation. 1-bedroom units are assigned one parking space, and both the 2 and 3-bedroom are assigned two parking space. If you plan on owning more cars than the number of spaces assigned, for your own sake and the sake of the other tenants living here, you would do best to look elsewhere. This is because guest parking within the complex and street parking are both very limited. In addition, there are no additional parking spaces for you to rent. If you own more cars or frequently have guests come over, both Stone Canyon and The Hills at Quail Run Apartments are close by and have virtually unlimited street parking. If the parking situation is compatible with the way you live, then this apartment complex can be a GREAT place to live. Here are some the reasons living here has been such a pleasure for me and my wife: ***Since guest parking is so limited, there are very few house parties and the complex remains quiet even on weekends! ***BLAZING FAST INTERNET - AT&T fiber is available for all units at $80/month, and it is extremely fast and reliable. ***The Trails at Canyon Crest is only a couple years old and is the newest apartment in the city of Riverside. The units are new, modern, sleek, and beautifully maintained. ***The units are new, well-insulated, and energy efficient, so even during the summer, you can keep your unit cool without paying too much for electricity. Our total utility bill for the record-breaking hot month of July was only $134, and we had the AC on blast. ***The complex is built around the Box Springs Canyon nature preserve. There's a nice sidewalk/walking trail along the preserve, which is a great place to walk your dog or just enjoy the view. ***For dog owners, there's even a cute little dog park ***If you enjoy exercising, there is a nice, well-maintained community gym which is open 24/7. The walking trail is also a nice place to jog and there are even outdoor pullup and dip bars for you to use. ***The location is ideal for our lifestyle - there's quick access to the 91 and 215/60 freeways, there's a grocery store and shopping plaza close by, it's close to hiking trails at Sycamore Canyon Wilderness Park, it's in a relatively safe area away from downtown, and it's a relatively secluded location bordered by multiple wilderness areas. ***The maintenance staff is very friendly and responsive to our requests. ***The landscaping around the apartment complex is beautiful and well-cared for. ***The community trashcans are easily accessible and frequently emptied by waste management (at least compared to where I used to live). ***It's a gated complex and relatively safe (compared to many of the other apartments and areas around Riverside). ***All our neighbors are very friendly and considerate."
"Luisa- What a wonderful example of customer service and professionalism. She is the most helpful leasing agent and very quick to solve many problems. I honestly think she should be promoted to manager soon because she runs the place seamlessly."
