"The manager Maria is horrible she’s very racist and she allows people that aren’t supposed to be in the complex and she’s a huge manipulator and very unprofessional manger she terrorizes people and the maintenance family gets to park in every spot and doesn’t pay any rent and allows his other family members get more privilege than other people and The apartment that is connected to the office. She has never lived there she has. illegals that are related to the maintenance man living there in spying on residence when they’re in and out of the pool and she receives money from them for staying in the apartment illegally she has she has different people come in front of the apartment detail people wash her car. She calls down to the city and has peoples cars towed and has tickets put on their vehicles. she uses the maintenance man for her spy and her eyes, and he walks back-and-forth from the office, telling her everything that takes place. You have no peace, no privacy here she spreads everybody’s business in the apartments she buys tenants furniture and things that they don’t want all the jobs that are done in here are side jobs I’m professional there’s a roaches in here she wants all of the African-Americans to fuse and cause conflict between them caucasians too she doesn’t want people to be friendly in the apartments and talk to each other. She is a control freak she likes to control everything she will give you the apartment and then harass you. She is very aggressive. She’s very confrontational. She is a manipulator and a liar. so if you’re thinking about moving into these apartments, think twice, check out the reviews from many people. Also, there’s a lot of reviews about her on yelp too. The cameras do not work they’re just there to make you think they work. Her eyes is the people that she has in here that are related to her and to the maintenance man. Also, she’s having an affair with the maintenance man. He took Roberts place they locked Robert out of his apartment and moved Miguel into his apartment with all his tools and all of his belongings. Also, there is a lot of issues with her at the other apartment behind us The mailboxes are vandalized peoples cars are vandalized since she’s been here in Canyon Crest it has definitely went down there’s graffiti all over here Shia allows the maintenance man and other unauthorized people to be in the office to come in with resident personal information"

"The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. The Good - Excellent location in Canyon Crest for UCR students, employees and faculty. Conveniently located, next to the Canyon Crest shopping center and major freeways. The Bad - Doctored photos that intentionally misinform applicant's about the apartment's size and quality. Please be aware, the apartments look NOTHING like the photos in the Craigslist ads or anywhere else. The tubs and showers are tiny. An adult cannot fit in the tubs and can barely turn around in the shower. The shower legitimately has to be around two feet by two feet. And the water smells...weird, as if something has died in the pipes. I cannot prove the units are all electric but the electric bills are on average $200-400 monthly, which is ridiculously considering the air conditioning units are anywhere from 20-25 years old and do not work very well. The bare minimum has been but into this place and is the quality is not on level with the outrageous rent. Now THE UGLY. The manager's behavior is questionable at best and unethical at the worst. Please be careful when paying your rent, IF you have it sent directly from your bank, the manager will say it is lost and then miraculously find it when your bank advises you to advise them they will be filing a police report. It may be a coincidence but the manager seems to harass Black women tenants who are faculty, professionals and graduate students. Accusing them of having pets in the unit they don't have, entering their apartments without notice and/or opinion and generally harassing them. You can ask to speak with her supervisor or the owner but your requests will be ignored. If there was a different property manager and even possibly an owner, this complex could possibly be saved and turned into something decent. But currently as is, it is definitely not worth the price or aggravation."

"Been here 13 months and it's been very nice. Maria keeps the place looking nice and clean. She takes care of any issue right away. I will be here for a long time as long as she's managing the apartments. Thank you Maria."

"First off, I have lived here (and currently) since Feb 2018. The property manager has always been great and courteous. Maintenance is prompt in responding after an issue is brought up and I can't speak for all of the buildings but in my building I have never seen a single roach. I think the lesson here, with the many negative reviews, is that the negative reviews probably stem from people that couldn't follow directions or were problems in their own right."

"I moved when new management arrived. I can honestly say she has provided me with the best service. She truly cares about the tenants and works very hard to satisfy needs. She’s always just a text message away, and really makes me feel important! This is my first time renting an apartment, but she immediately made me feel at home and completely comfortable. I am always texting her with concerns and just little updates. She appreciates all feedback, and really wants to change this apartment around! To top it off all apartments are being renovated. Maintence works really hard and he’s always around to help with whatever he can. I spend hours sometimes in her office just chatting about whatever. Not only is she apartment manager but a friend to me! Really appreciate the hospitality!"
