"I have been a resident at Metro Gateway for some time now, and while the staff has been helpful with certain issues, I am disappointed with the lack of attention to cleanliness and maintenance in the common areas. Despite reaching out to the front office multiple times via phone calls and emails, the stairs and hallways remain consistently dirty, often with dog urine and other filth. It is disheartening to see such neglect, especially in building 3410 across the street, which seems to be overlooked in comparison to the side of the complex near the leasing office. Additionally, the state of the dumpster area is unacceptable. Homeless individuals frequently rummage through the trash and even use the area as a restroom, creating a significant hygiene and safety concern. I hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and takes proactive steps to address these issues, as the current situation does not reflect well on the overall living experience at this complex."

"I've hesitated to pen this review for several reasons. Firstly, I'm still a resident here, and despite my grievances, I don't want to create a hostile environment with the staff. After all, they're doing the best they can. Secondly, after going through some of the other 1-star reviews, I felt like I'd just be adding to the pile. However, my sentiments shift every time I receive the monthly newsletter, which often lacks crucial information that could potentially make a difference. Maybe not, but at least it would give the impression that they're trying. For instance, the December newsletter was brimming with Christmas spirit. The management took the time to share tips on winter food storage and how to make tasty Hot Chocolate CoCo bombs. But they missed out on things like New Year's resolution tips. For example, a simple reminder not to let your pet defecate in the hallway. Yes, a large, smelly pile of dog feces right in the middle of the hallway. Kudos to the maintenance team, they cleaned it up by Monday afternoon. Sadly, an unsuspecting resident stepped in it and left a trail down the hallway - the marks are still visible. This review is not a criticism of the property management or the maintenance team. I see their efforts and understand their limitations. However, it is a critique of the property owners. My master bedroom is a furnace, the central air conditioning doesn't reach it. HVAC engineers confirmed that to fix this, the entire ventilation system in the apartment would need to be overhauled, a cost the management isn't willing to bear. He also mentioned that other apartments face similar issues. While I could extend this review with more issues, I'll conclude with the most urgent one - SECURITY. This place is like the wild west. My car has been burgled twice! I've resorted to leaving the door unlocked to avoid window damage. I even left a note thanking the thief for having the decency to close the door after their deed. I suspect it's the homeless people living nearby. They rummage through the dumpsters and leave trash everywhere. Recently, we even had a reverse Santa collecting packages. Check out the video... I won't blame them either. Many of us are just a pandemic outbreak away from a similar fate. If you're considering moving here, proceed with caution. I'm not saying rule this place out, but do your research. I wish I had. Here's hoping Metro Gateway's New Year's resolution is to prioritize their tenants. Happy apartment hunting!"

"My experience with the staff moving- in has been great. The management team, Erika, is such a nice person, and Breonna is too. We got the $1000 move-in special, all thanks to the manager, Stephine. We learned that the present management is excellently maintaining the apartment. We like the apartment and hope we enjoy our stay here."

"The manager is so bad. She doesn’t even value the customers. I have applied for an apartment and heard and read a lot of bad stuffs from reviewers about this apartment complex and I did cancel my application within less than 24 hrs. And I got approved in one day to another nice resort apartments in Ontario which is 100 time better than Metro Geteway. On the lease agreement says if you cancel your application in 72 hrs you will get full refund back your $250 holding fee in 21 days. But it’s been more that a month and I haven’t heard anything from them. I called the office 3 times and finally spoke with the manager and she is so rude and told me no sense things. I am glad that I did not take this apartment. I don’t recommend this apartment, the management is so ridiculous and nonprofessional."

"The office staff was polite and very helpful with my move into Metro Gateway last week. My leasing agent name was Candi and I just wanted to THANK YOU and your team for a smooth transaction. I also wanted to recognize Leo in maintenance. I needed a few minor things addressed in my apartment after I moved into my unit. He worked on everything I requested and went to extra mile to fixed something I didn’t even put on the list to be repaired. Thank you Leo for being proactive and taking your job seriously."
