Reviews
"I moved in here August of 2013 and have lived here for three years. I concur with Jessica B.'s review (See below). I've had my bicycle stolen; and have also had to call the police (on more than one occasion) about domestic violence issues. The neighbors directly next to me were evicted for this. I believe when the current landlord purchased the property, she "inherited" a number of Section 8 residents, some of whom (not all of course) continue to be an issue. My unit is on the second floor and yes, my floors bounce when people go up/down the stairs near my door. There is no sound insulation between the walls/floor. The water is also a daily issue, as there is a central water heater for each building, which all residents share; this means that hot water is not always available, as It tends to run out by late afternoon. During the hot months of the year, the cold water is an issue, as the the new water pipes were run through the un-insulated crawlspace in the ceiling, which means the solar radiation heats up the pipes. To get cold water, I need to waste nearly 3 gallons or more of water in order to get cold water to flow through. Very poor design (lack of thought by the plumbers... it's likely they were just cutting a corner to save on installation cost). Recently (first week of January 2017) I noticed one of the unruly residents has actually thrown kitchen trash literally on top of the roof of the garages, where it is now sitting and rotting! I will try to attach a photo of this to the review. I called the landlord, but she has not responded to my message (in fact, her voicemail is blank, with no message at all). The landlord is oddly concerned with the landscaping of the grounds and spends money keeping it up, although the money could be better spent elsewhere... improving the laundry room facilities, and perhaps installing point-of-source water heaters, in my opinion. The parking is assigned by numbered spots, I have not had issue with this; I also pay for a garage, but I share it with other tenants. This past year alone, I've had to share the garage with four different sets of tenants. At no time was I ever notified that a new tenant would be sharing my garage, which means I have no confidence that any of my stuff being stored is secure from theft."
