"Experience was horrible applied on Monday, First time applicant, Was attended by Norma Mejia property manager, Told her my situation explain how my credit was not great low 400’s Had me give them an extra 500$ deposit and after called me back to ask for more money Gave her proof She told me If I made full 1500$ deposit I would be able to move in Friday 11/17/2023 Had me call msi insurance and so cal gas to active service for apartment number #62 when I was not even approved, Went over to speak to her and she laughed in my face, said she had explained everything I should have known, Made me feel horrible about the situation Mocked me when my financial consultant called, Norma said he didn’t even know what a co signer was, even though I’m well aware of the term, I trusted her with my process and now I’m broke and can’t get my 1500$ back until the 20th or 21st of November 2023, If she would’ve told me I didn’t get approved, I would have never gave them such big down payment, and activated insurance and gas in the first place. I feel emotional stress and now I’m in a bad situation made me take out an advance that I didn’t have just to tell me I’m denied and can’t move it when she told me I would be able to move in. Have messages emails to prove situation, We are dealing with an economic slowdown and being mislead puts me in a deeper financial hardship, I’m writing this review to be a voice for those who are not aware of these situations, this was my first time ever applying to an apartment and I feel so miss lead and taken advantage of, How would you feel if you were in my shoes? I understand it’s her job but I didn’t appreciate the fact that she took advantage of being a first time applicant and then how she made me seem like it was all my fault as to why I didn’t get into my apartment like she said I would."
