Reviews of Tara Hill
"Me and my family have been living here for 17 yrs. Is good place to live in. They have nice activities including free food ,drinks etc.all the seasons through out the year for the families living here. The managerChristian Valdez And office staff, Marisol Ngo,Joanna Medina and Azucenna Robles always here to help and listen . So far our experience living here is been good. I would recommend to rent here."
"I have lived here for almost 2 months, it has been quite unpleasant. First, move-in date was changed because apartment wasn't gonna be ready. They did a terrible job at getting the apartment ready, paint drops everywhere on the floor, missing baseboards, vent hood was taped, bathroom hot water was on the right side. Not to mentioned extra charges "rent fee", and now every single resident who is 18+ yrs old should have their own rental insurance policy. This is totally abusive, I wonder if it's a legal rule?"
"I lived there for 15 plus years out of convenience and close to my job. It served it’s purpose but parking was atrocious. I had my vehicle broke into, kids played in parking lot and set the trash can on fire, luckily my son smelled the smoke and put the fire out before the fire dept got there who was literally across the street. The neighbor had roaches, so they’d come in through the pipes. Termites swarmed every year and the management never tented the building. The carpet and paint should’ve been done when due after so many years but if it wasn’t requested, it would never get done. The neighbor changed for the worst. Maintenance was good and seemed like they were there when we needed it. The neighbors kids were extremely loud running up and around there apartment making loud noises and slamming doors. The parents did nothing. But I wouldn’t recommend anyone to move there. Like I said, I lived there for a while and it started out great until the neighborhood changed and management changed. Not to mention the laundry used to accept payment but wouldn’t wash at all and getting your money back basically never happened. I also want to say the apartment shakes if you live close to the front of the complex. You get used to it sadly. I always wondered why the rent went up every year by at least $100 per year and couldn’t see any improvements on the property. They did fix the mailbox situation because those used to get broken into too. Again parking was atrocious despite being entitled to two parking spots. Even with a permit, you’ll wait hours on a parking spot inside the property, that was probably the worse ongoing issue. That’s the gist of it. Do your research before moving in."
"My husband and I lived in the Tara Hill Apartments for 3 years. The only reason we moved out 3 weeks ago because we moved to another state. All we can say is both of Claudias and Carlos were really nice and helpful to us during the three years. Every time we needed maintenance the crew was in our apartment in less than an hour and they fixed everything for us. We really can't complain for the Tara Hill staff, including the maintenance guys. Brian, the security guy is always top on everything, he knows everyone in every single apartments, and he knows which car belongs to the tenants by person. There were some issues with breaking into cars in the parking lot while we lived there, but the management staff really did their best with the security. There are so much more working cameras around the community than people think and if you need help with the footage, the management are there to help you with that. Of course, there were some things that bothered us, but those things are totally not up to the management. - If you gonna rent out a downstairs apartment be prepared for the noise that will come from your upstairs neighbors. The walls and the ceiling are really thin, so you will hear everything. I mean everything! Including them being in the bathroom, snoring during the night, walking all around in the apartment, or just simply watching TV. - Also, there are some cockroach problems too, because some neighbors just don't clean their apartments and the bugs will go to your apartment. But you can ask for a free pets control from the management and they'll take care of that. - Also, unfortunately some tenants thinks that the sidewalks are there for throwing their garbage and leave it there, but if you report it to the management they'll take care of that too. - Consider to get dehumidifier because during the winter time the apartment can get way too humidified and the walls around the windows can get moldy very easily. - There is a stray cat invasion around the complex because the kids are keep feeding them. The problem is, those cats will go to your patio and will do their bathroom business there. They also have fleas, so if you have a cat or dog make sure to take care of your furbaby not to get infected by fleas. The last thing we want to mention, if you don't damage your apartment while you live there, you'll get a move out refund just like we did. There is always good and bad things if you have a rental place. Tara Hill apartment is not as bad as some other reviews says. The management, the maintenance crew and the security are always there for you when you need them."
"I called 30 minutes before they stopped tours for the day. Got there with 15 minutes left and they were very inviting and happy to give the tour. I met with Claudia and she was very nice and showed me a 2 bed/2 bath. I really wanted to see a 3 bed/2 bath. The living room in the 2 bed/2 bath was very spacious. Kitchen was very up to date. It's definitely affordable. You do get what you pay for. The only thing that pushes me away is parking. Also, very convenient if you work at either Disneyland, Knotts, or need access to the freeway."
