"I like that these apartments are nice and big, but they are very old and need a lot of maintenance and upgrades. We moved into our apartment 7 years ago and when we moved in the carpet was already several years old and they refused to change it or to paint or upgrade appliances until you move out! Then the new tenants move in and everything is all nice and new! Neighbors had a roof leak which caused mold in their apartment. It was attempted to be fixed with paint only. Had to be redone and tenants had to move out for a week. When it rained the next week, the water came leaking from the roof again! We have ants and cockroaches all the time and nothing is done. There are water repairs and slab leaks almost every other day which leads to water shutoffs for hours. Rent is very expensive for what you get (or don’t get) here!"

"I love canyon woods! My husband and I just moved about two weeks ago. We love this place! The apartment was clean and nicely painted, it includes all the appliances. It's in a great location and we will always recommend this place! Thank you Norma and canyon woods team for making us feel right at home! you guys are the best! Norma is so kind and is very helpful. We love living here. :)"

"I have lived here for almost 6 years. It was great but expensive. I loved paying the premium involved with living in this area. The owners decided to bring in New Management who does not have a clue with customer service. I would rate the customer service at a 0 if I could. Do not move here until Norma the property manager is replaced. I am planning on leaving as quickly as possible to leave Norma the Nazi in my dust."

"Lived there for only a year. There were good and bad things: The Good: - One of the few apartments that had a washer and dryer - Nice location by the Aliso Creek trail - We liked our neighbors - Hot tub, gym, tennis courts we used daily - responsive maintenance The Bad: - ants! It was a constant battle and there was not much they could do - our bike got stolen. There are no cameras on the grounds. This is an area where lots of questionable people walk around and cut through to get to the bike path. Not super safe. - They will raise your rent every year no matter how good of a tenant you are. That’s actually why we left."
