"The 5 star reviews here are mostly from people who haven’t lived here for a substantial time. The leasing office gives great service to prospective tenants and then asks them to write a review based on that. Here’s the real deal: Yes, the other reviews about fire alarms going off in the middle of the night are true. It happened again at 4:30 AM and lasted over 3 minutes. My boyfriend has lived here for 6 months and it's happened about 6-7 times since then. It's actual hell and my ear drums felt like they were going to burst. And the poor animals that have even more sensitive hearing than humans. Even worse, the apartment management does not seem to care, will spin you in circles with gibberish and has yet to resolve this after several years. Please do not move here, regardless of any move in specials or schmoozing leasing agents."

"Linda was amazing to meet and work with. She helped my husband and I with our lease. She always said hello when we passed by her. Joy was also very sweet and understanding! In addition, the maintenance staff was always friendly and quick to respond too. I do wish where we stayed got more sunlight because it was in the shade most of the day with maybe 15-30 mins of sunlight a day. Overall, this is a great place to live. I love that it was pet and kid friendly with many families. I always felt safe too."

"I’ve only lived here a month. This is my 3rd Shea property. Each one has unique features. City Light once again proves that on can’t go wrong living at a Shea property. The leasing office knowledgeable,kind,and listens to you. Extremely helpful Positives gated,garage for parking,pet friendly, fountains in the courtyards. They are in the process of building beautiful recreation center. gym,beautiful clubhouse,office center and more. Aliso Viejo Town Center across the street. I forgot to mention the wonderful maintenance crew and porters Also the windows are double pained . Overall great place to live"

From the moment she arrived, Laura's positive attitude and tireless work ethic were evident and she always went above and beyond. Laura's attention to detail ensured that every we checked every box, and her cheerful demeanor kept morale high throughout the whole process. Without her assistance, I don't know how I would have managed. If you're ever move into this community, look no further than Laura. "City lights apartments is a great property to live at!! They have so many different amenities from pools, the gym, study pod rooms, club house, etc! Staff and management are courteous and prompt. More specifically, Adriel has been super helpful with requests we’ve had about our apartment and has worked diligently to find a quick solution to any problem that arose! Obviously, there are so many things that are out of management control but he really went the extra mile for us!"
