"My family and I spent just over a year at Park Viridian and loved it! The flexible leasing was the main draw for us. It’s tough to find month-to-month leases in this area that come with so many amenities. Chris and the maintenance team were always responsive and kind. Whenever we had a question or concern Chris was always so helpful and knowledgeable. We have jobs that require us to move a lot and (with the help of Chris’ patience and professionalism) we inevitably extended our month-to-month lease there to accommodate a work contract of mine. It all ended up working out for our family and we couldn’t have done it without the flexibility there. Any normal wear and tear issues were handled quickly and they would always provide us with additional info. For example; we had an issue with our gas stove clicking late at night. One of the maintenance guys showed up quickly(I think his name is Ricky?) he knew I had a young son and the first thing he did was test for a gas leak and reassure me that he would make sure it was all safe before working. He fixed it quickly and then gave me some info on how to troubleshoot things and to call with any doubts or questions. I’ve had experiences at other apartments where I’ve felt dismissed- but never at Park Viridian. They always took our questions seriously which, in our experience as renters in OC, is hard to find in a big complex. Would definitely recommend to people who need a safe, spacious place to commute from like we did."
"Whenever I have issues and I have to reach out the the property management office, I always have the best experience with Chris Gassler. He knows how to take in the information, maintain professionalism throughout the interaction, manage expectations, while seeking solutions, and even following up during issues and even afterwards. There’s been several times I’ve consider moving to another apartment -of course there are several factors to take into account - however, my experience with him is actually one of them. Even though issues and circumstances that arise may not be ideal, my experience and interaction with him as a representative for the community is ideal. Honestly, he is exemplary- and I wish other management representatives and individuals were more like he is. Thank you Chris!"

"I just want to say that the whole team at Park Viridian are wonderful people! Ricky and the maintenance team respond quickly to work orders and are so polite and knowledgeable when going over any issues you might have. The cleaning crew, both for the week and weekend, are lovely people that work hard to keep this place clean and it definitely shows. Someone from management or the office is always a quick phone call away for any concerns you may have. Chris in particular has been very helpful getting back to us whenever we need it and is a pleasure to talk to. We really appreciate the professional and kind people here that make this place feel like home. For anyone looking for an apartment, I highly suggest thinking about Essex. They make it easy to find what best suits your needs and lifestyle, plus they have various locations and units so you don’t have to compromise too much on location."
"I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the apartment management at Park Viridian. When I moved into my upgraded unit on August 23rd, 2022, I had high hopes for a comfortable living experience, especially considering its proximity to Disneyland, just a 5-minute drive away. However, my enthusiasm quickly turned into dismay when I discovered mold in my washer just eight days after moving in. Upon reporting the issue to the management, a team of workers was sent to assess the situation. While they made an attempt to remove the visible mold, it was clear that the problem persisted. Shockingly, the workers dismissed my concerns, insisting that the washer, which is from 2016 and most likely out of production, was merely stained and safe to use for washing clothes. This dismissive response was both unprofessional and concerning, especially considering that the outdated washer was considered an upgrade in the apartment. Additionally, after conducting research, I discovered that front load washers typically have a life expectancy of about 5-11 years, further raising doubts about the quality and longevity of the provided "upgrade." From August 31st until the present day, I have continuously raised complaints regarding the persistent mold in the washer and the accompanying foul smell emanating from it. Regrettably, the moldy smell permeates not only the immediate vicinity of the washer but also spreads throughout most of my apartment. It stinks up the master bedroom, the hallway that connects the bedrooms and front door, and even reaches the living room. This pervasive odor negatively impacts the overall livability of the apartment, making it unpleasant and uncomfortable to reside in. Despite my repeated notifications, the management has shown a complete lack of concern and urgency in addressing this distressing issue, exacerbating the already dire situation. To make matters worse, when I had the opportunity to speak directly with Devyn from the management team, I explicitly expressed my desire for a new washer and my unwillingness to let the problem persist for the remainder of our lease. However, despite our conversation, a new worker who came to inspect our washer informed us that the required parts could take up to three months to ship. This unacceptable timeframe conveniently aligns with the end of our lease. The fact that the management is willing to let the mold problem continue until the end of our lease is absolutely unacceptable. As tenants, we should not have to endure a faulty washer and the accompanying health risks for the duration of our lease agreement. It is the responsibility of the management to promptly address and rectify maintenance issues, especially when they pose a threat to the well-being of their tenants. As a tenant, I expect the management to prioritize the health and well-being of their residents. It is their responsibility to ensure a safe and habitable living environment. Unfortunately, my experience at Park Viridian has been marred by their incompetence, negligence, and lack of professionalism. I am deeply disappointed by their failure to address a mold issue that poses a risk to my family's health. In light of the management's disregard for the mold issue and their unwillingness to provide a timely resolution, I strongly advise prospective tenants to reconsider choosing Park Viridian as their place of residence. It is evident that the management is more interested in deflecting blame and avoiding the cost of necessary repairs than in resolving problems and ensuring tenant satisfaction. My hope is that by sharing my experience, others will be spared from the frustration and disappointment I have endured. The persistent mold issue in my washer, coupled with the management's lack of action, inappropriate response, and the delay in obtaining necessary replacement parts, has made my living experience not recommend this apartment complex to anyone seeking a comfortable and hassle-free living environment."
