"I worked at both these properties for about 4 years. It was a very challenging neighborhood. I left working with all the guys. I love training the stupid people that came in to work in the office. Most of all I miss my golf cart super bad. But now I work at the beach so I'm happy. I thought the neighborhood was beautiful."
"This is the worse management ever! Especially The manager Angel Fuentes!!! Many of my friends moved out already. I’m looking for better place and better location to move out as well. Very old buildings. After the rain, water collecting in the building and the whole house stinks unbearable! All Neigbors complains of roaches infestation. I’ve been in this area for over 20 years. Things got worse since properties were sold to the new owners. I see people move in and out of here. My turn to do so."
"Reading some of these reviews made me chuckle. Only one seems accurate and it's the one review with pictures. All the other reviews are not too accurate nor do people seem to know how old the buildings lol. The neighborhood has gotten better and it's nice. Unfortunately the buildings under this new management has been in decline since they were bought a few years ago. You have people in the offices that seem to not know how to interact with people, they pacify you with any complaint or issue you may have. Tenants do what they want for example take up a 2 car garge when they should only have one space. Or even open space parking taken without it really being theirs. The fact that the office can't even manage parking spots should speak volumes. The manager Angel well it's a love and hate. He means well but don't over promise and keep your word. If he managed properly people under him would get there act together. I recall pre-Covid walking into the office to ask a question, the guy there looked up and continued on messing with his phone. The woman too just looked up at me as if I was disturbing her. Anyway, the neighborhood is much nicer than years past. Street parking is horrible though which is annoying when people don't park as they should. Expect the unexpected. When you don't have to deal with the office via any means you're good though. Don't let the esthetics fool you."
"I forcefully stuck out my full term lease, always paid my rent on time with the exception of 1 month, no animals, no kids, very clean and followed their polices accordingly. However hypocritical, condescending, and inarticulate attitudes mixed with a "honcho mentality" doesn't mix well .. all encounters I had via phone/email/in person with everyone accepts zero accountability for anything with pure obviousness on purpose with a badger underline tone. I was attacked by their leasing agent with a letter opener and the most appalling egregious unprofessional things a-raised like I had to reach out to management the day after the incident, the employee that worked under her stated on multiple occasions before the initial incident that she had issues with other tenants, maintenance jobs would take months on top of months to be completed, management does not respond until something is crucial, personal property vandalized due to them stating no personal locks were allowed on manual garages, I was not let out my lease after being attacked on camera, walk way conditions were not always appeasing, workers will enter unit with no notice (KN OCK OR CALLING OUT), office staff was either not knowledgeable or had a bad attitude. I will over emphasize to anyone DO NOT MOVE HERE, its unfortunate that this company manages its property the way it does and the customer service standards are just as low from people in management positions such as Brain Arrasmith and Angel Funes and Andre Roberts is ridiculously naive. I was continuously bullied, target, pushed to be oppressed and even called a liar (EVEN WITH PHOTOS/AUDIO/VIDEO), it really felt like a mini hell and I feared for my safety on multiple occasions because I could not leave and I was raised in Inglewood and I am nothing but appalled. Cases are still pending, Department of Equal Housing and Fair Employment complaint was filed and lawyer was obtained."
"I love my rental team. Janette is the best. Always pleasant. Always helpful. Always has a ready smile. So its been approximately over a year since I moved in and I wanted to update my review. As always Janette is The Best! Always gives service with a smile, she is efficient, helpful, and represents the company in a very professional manner. She is by far a pleasure to work with. Alas, I wished that could be said of Mr. Angel Funes, the manager. He is definitely not a man of his word. He does not return phone calls. I'm not sure what the problem is but he needs help. He whimsically issue promises and reassurances that he does not communicate to his team and so you end up not receiving the promise etc. For all the increase in rent each year, the quality of work that he and his maintenance team provides for the upkeep of the apartment is terrible. They only do patchwork and bandages. They paint over mold. They have layers and layers of paint on walls, doors, and cabinets so much so that I wouldn't be surprised if the original layer has lead in it. There are doors and screens that are misaligned so bugs, like spiders and flies are always in the house. The pipes are old and bad. A neighbor once told me the poop backed up into her shower. I could go on and on. These properties used to be owned by a company called Jones and Jones. If so, then they were slum lords then and it seems they have only changed their name not their practice. Mr. Funes used to be able to provide quality of service but now he seems harried, overwhelmed, and forgetful. Maybe the Santo Rosalio/Tomas Apt. Homes company are not providing him with the tools to work properly. Maybe they need to promote Janette. I don't know what happened to Pam and Benjamin. These apartments have been around for a long time. Since the 40's, they shouldn't have the same paint and work from then."
