"My move-in experience was fantastic. Starting from the self-guided tour, to checking-in and getting my key code the first day, the Essex team has been extremely communicative and supportive. They were responsive, accommodating, and made the entire move-in process seamless. Fabian and Nicole were friendly and went above and beyond to address any questions or concerns I had. The property itself is modern, spacious, and well-designed, with top-notch amenities. I couldn't be happier with my decision to move here, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great living experience with excellent customer service."
"My apartment was nice and maintenance was great, however a few of my packages were stolen. The leasing office did not take any actions to help prevent this from reoccurring. Additionally, when contacting the leasing office to help resolve any issues I had they were very rude on the phone. Overall, If you value customer service I would not recommend living here."
"I've lived here for about a year. I tell people that I love my unit, but the building is just okay. I take advantage of the app to frequently request services done, and they do a good job of responding quickly and taking care of my requests. As others have noted, the fire alarm issue is apparent, and there doesn't seem to be an attempt to figure out if there is a solution. They say you just have to live with the way it is, basically. Nobody respects the alarm and evacuates like they say you should in their follow up email. The alarm has "cried wolf" too many times to be taken seriously, at this point. The cleanliness of the building is mixed. I see them come around and clean all of the grills daily, which is great. The pool is also always very clean. But the hallways and stairs are usually dirty, the stairways especially. I remember seeing dried dog poop on the floor in one of the stairwells, and someone taped a note above it (anger towards the dog owner). It was there for a long time. Obviously, no one cleans the stairs on a regular basis. I wonder whose fault that is. Is it the cleaning crew? Whose job is it to inspect that the cleaning crew is doing their job? Does upper management cut costs this way, intentionally? I would appreciate direct responses to these questions rather than general "we appreciate your feedback and strive for ..." The building's location is great and so are the views. There are amenities that are closed for whatever reason, which is disappointing. There is a shuffleboard table as well, but the pucks have been missing for a while. So, I wouldn't get too hyped about the amenities until they open them all up and maintain them. Something annoying is the residents who leave their trash and boxes on the floor by the chutes, very often. I don't blame the building for that. I blame my neighbors. If you're reading this, just why? I live here, too and call this my home. Show some respect."
"Horrible place to live, terrible management, dirty neighbors that never clean up after their pets, stolen packages, no sense of urgency when it comes to repairs, fire alarm going off multiple times a month in the middle of the night! My unit flooded twice in less than a year. The 2nd flood was much worse than the first due to all the faulty repairs from the first flood. The water was just flowing in through the walls right where it was supposed to have been fixed but the drywall repair was horrible! I have several pictures and videos that I documented from the horrible time here at this place. I was flooded out of my unit on 01/10 and completely moved out and they are trying to continue charging me rent for the month of February! You all will definitely be hearing from my attorney and I. This place deserve a below zero rating! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!"
