"I am in the midst of apartment hunting, so I booked an appointment well in advance. I had to rent a car and my sister had to take off work for the appointment. I received a call the morning of the appointment telling me that they would need to reschedule for later that day. I called multiple times and left a message, and it went unanswered. Finally I spoke with someone at the front desk who said they would have the manager call me back after their meeting, but informed me that nobody would be available to show me the place today. So I had been sitting around waiting all day for the reschedule that was in fact never coming. Spoiler alert: the manager also never called me back. This is a stressful time for me. My other sister passed away, and I took in my nephew, so I'm doing everything I can to find a 2 bedroom and sort things out after becoming a new and single parent overnight. The last thing I need is to be left out in the rain like this with not an ounce of sympathy or consideration for how the dismissiveness might impact someone. Update: They responded by telling me to call to see how they can improve the experience, yet they STILL haven't called me back, reached out directly, apologized, or offered any assistance in light of the time, money lost, and stress as a result of the carelessness. So clearly the replies are only to make them look better. If anyone cared, at the very least my messages would have been returned or the manager would have reached out."

"Yes, it’s important to point out the maintenance has greatly improved over the past few months. Yesterday, Joesph came by and replaced the water and air filters. He did a good job and I was surprised how quickly he responded, less than 24 hours from my first request. Joesph has been to my apartment before and he is always friendly and professional. I understand that there has been an additional serviceman employed by Esprit, this is great news."

"Location: great location for good views and some nearby walkable restaurants. The promenade is an enjoyable for daily walks with lots of space for non car activities. Building: showing some age but remodeling many areas and the inside of the complex is very clean and quiet. Love the plants everywhere. Staff: The cleaning and maintenance staff are great and ver friendly. The front desk staff are always very helpful. Some community events which are a nice touch. Management company: the only downside to the place is the management company ES Ring. There is a lot of staff turnover because I presume they don’t pay very well. Which is a shame. They also obviously cut every corner possible to turn more profit by providing the bare minimum resources for maintenance to actually be able to do their job. For example, after being here for over a year, they finally cleaned the windows just this month. They also have a hot tub renovation that was started before I moved in and and still a big hole in the ground after 14 months- which is unfortunate if you are one of the apartments that has had to look at a tarp for the past year. Overall I would live here again. You pay a premium to be here buy I think it is worth it. The problem really is just with the property management business side. I hope they get their act together because they have hired great people and I like living here."

"Loved living here for two years! Some of the best units LA and Marina del Rey has to offer with amazing views and resort style living. Shout out to the staff especially Taje and Stefanie who are super helpful and awesome"

"Large spacious units with plenty of privacy in multiple bedroom units. They offer a decent gym, racquetball and saunas. The pool is probably the best feature as it's heated, well maintained and offers plenty of seating. There are hot tubs scattered throughout the building proving one for each section of the building The units have fairly cheap finishes when comparing neighboring buildings but they win with the space, layout and closet space."
