"This review is for our feeding therapist, Jennifer Lewis. We were first recommended by my son's pediatrician at PAMF to look into Joy and Laughter Developmental Therapy in San Jose when our in network options were not available until 4-6 months out from the time we needed these services. I can say now, after 4 months of taking my 18 month old to Jennifer, I would pay out of pocket all over again to have him receive the care and expertise we have from her. We came here at a time when my son refused to eat any solids at 14 months old. Every attempt to feed him was extremely challenging. This is our third child so we thought we had things down pretty well, but he didn't follow the "normal" milestones when it came to eating. Numerous allergies added to our equation. Jennifer gave me a sense of relief and the confidence to know that my son was going to learn and be able to eat one day. She has so many creative ways to help these little kiddos become interested in food and eventually want to eat. Jennifer is so kind and patient and her compassion is palpable. I've seen my son go from barely eating a bite of food to now consuming full meals. And ENJOYING it. Jennifer has become part of our family's story. We are forever grateful for everything she has taught us these last couple of months and the care she has shown my son and our family. Thank you so much : )"
