"Recently moved in the front of the complex. Nothing to complain about at all so far, noise level is always minimal, friendly neighbors and is obviously a student residence. Although some neighbors seem to want to live here with entire families and in a group living situation with students they expect 100% silence which is not possible to expect even during the day. Staff is helpful and tries to keep everyone happy. I would discourage families and professionals from living here, but is a great place to live for a second or third year college student wanting to get away from the party scene. Very close to downtown and the city college making it easy to go out and get to class."

"Absolutely awful. There is an apartment full of dudes who are drunk and high all day, everyday. They are harassing other tenants with noise and threats at all hours of the day-and-night. These guys literally mocked the police and slammed the door in their faces.. Management has been completely unresponsive. The situation is unlivable and people are actually afraid for their safety. Do not move in here! We're looking to get out of here as fast as we can."

"Absolutely horrific. The management is completely unresponsive to tenant complaints. There is one apartment In the complex full of tenants who are absolutely terrorizing the rest of the residents with noise at all hours, constant excessive drug and alcohol use and threats of physical violence against anyone who complains and the management does absolutely nothing about it. Repeated calls to "Dustin", the supposed manager, go absolutely nowhere and receive no response. We're looking into taking legal action to break our lease."

"Recently moved into the Ivy at Carrillo on April 4, 2020. The complex pays for utilities including cable and internet and there are some units that are furnished. However, the negatives/issues far outweigh any potential perks. There has been constant noise, loud music, drug use, running up and down stairs, and issues with the apartment itself such as lack of hot water. This is not the place to live for families and/or working professionals. This place is best suited for a college student since the majority of residents are students. I would have given 0 stars, but chose to give 1 star since management is nice. Although, it seems to be no change from my complaint(s) but rather retaliation from disturbing young tenants!"

"Ivy At Carrillo is the ideal college living situation. For a place that is mostly college students it is pretty quiet. DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED BY THE BAD REVIEWS, there will always be noise in any community living situation. I have lived here for a year and anytime there is an issue in my apartment it is fixed almost immediately. Ivy is walking distance to the school and is a small gated community."
