"What a great 1 hr 45 min excursion in San Diego. Great for adults and kids alike. We had Captain Michael and First Mate Charlie and both were friendly, enthusiastic and provided great, under-known information. We saw tons of sea lions and sea birds - plus a bonus was seeing the trained dolphins jump when we floated by."
"If you’re in the area, this tour is a MUST DO! We took the 10:30 booking, Captain Chill and 1st mate Lila made a great team! Lila was Cheerful, engaging and informative. We were ecstatic to be able to see the sea lions and a dolphin briefly."
"Went on a tour this morning with captain Fozii and 1st mate Charlie and it was great Charlie had so much info about San Diego would definitely recommend"
"We had a blast. Took our kids, 12 and 6, we all loved it. Saw sea lions, dolphins, osprey (both the bird and the Navy helicopter kind)! Captain Chill and First Mate Bailey were fun and informative. Would definitely do again next time we are in town."
"I am a San Diego native and have always seen this big blue hydra terra vehicle parked on the side walk as I enter Sea Port Village. Finally had the chance to ride this half land half water vehicle. Tickets: Get them on line or in person. Different times of the day have different pricing. If you have access to military base, you can get them at a discount. Or if you’re a San Diego local like me, sign up for the Hometown Pass to get BOGO in person. Parking: Park in the lot and get your ticket validated by them to receive a discount. I was there for 3 hours and paid $11. The ticket machines are broken, you must pay with the attendant on the way out. The restroom is near the ticket booth. Get there early to stand in line if you want to get the best seats. We got there 30 mins before departure and there were about 20 people ahead of us. There’s really no bad seat but I would say sit on the right side (passenger side). The best row would be the one by the gate in the middle, it gives lots of leg room like on a plane in the emergency row. It doesn’t really matter where you sit because the vehicle rotates around and you’re allowed to stand and walk around once you’re in the water. Not much to see in the land portion. It goes pass Harbor Island, through Shelter Island to go into the water and boat around Point Loma. Entire tour was 90 minutes. It gets windy and cold in certain areas. They do offer blankets to keep you warm. We had captain Michael and Bailey as the tour guide. She’s super funny with tons of cheesy jokes. Highly recommend this tour to see the beautiful side of San Diego and all the local gems that you would have never known if it weren’t for this tour."
