"I called looking for item I couldn’t find at local grocery store, I needed for a party. I did call first to make sure they had it before going. I have lived in Rochester many years, but this was my first time at the butcher shoppe. I did a quick walk through looking for the item I needed. I made it to the actual fresh counter when I was asked if I needed help? The guy was great, he could easily have told me which case to look in. Instead he walked all the way around the counter, across the store and pointed to the two in stock!!! Serious customer service, like from the 1950’s style. Super helpful. I grabbed the item and went to check out. Prices overall are competitive to a bit higher. However, the quality is worth the cost. I was shocked at everything they had…..like really shocked. It’s really a hidden gem. The location is off the beaten path- but I will definitely be back."
