"I live here. The park has changed a lot in the past ten years, but its still my home. I love going on walks and meeting dogs of our neighborhood (lots of all kinds of dogs live in M.p.) with my daughter. She loves dogs Sad to see the school get torn down. But the new homes they built there look nice."
"At first, I thought Morgan Park was just a park, but instead it is a small town south of Duluth, MN. I was looking for a very easy disc golf course for my kids to learn how to play the game. We had looked at 3 courses in the Duluth area, and while those may have been good for more experienced players, I thought they were to hard for novice rookies. So, within the community of Morgan Park, is an actual park with community center, nice large playground, a covered small areas with picnic tables and a very easy 7 hole disc golf course around the perimeter of the park. The kids had a blast, playing thee course two times, after a snack break when we finished the first 7 baskets. The baskets are not marked with the hole number, but since it is a perimeter course, you can really start/end anywhere you want. The hardest part was finding the "tees". Most of them consist of a very faded white line on the sidewalks. There are a couple tees which are decaying timber framed tees. Overall, loved the place but with community center closed, there are no bathrooms, not even a port-a-potty, nor drinking fountains. Afterwards made a stop at the Speedway gas, to fill up with the least expensive prices seen all weekend, and was surprised to find a GREAT selection of ice cream, at least 8 different flavors, so we also filled up with ice cream cones!"
"The neighborhood has a quiet, small town feel to it. If you want great food, go the the Iron Mug for great fellowship, go to Good Hope Church on Sunday. Of course there is the Super America for your fuel and small needs."
"Great place for kids to play. Big family area so always someone there it seems. Has basketball, hockey/skating in winter. Beginner 7 hole disc golf course. Has playground that is large. Stuff for small kids and bigger kids. Climbing wall in bigger kid area. Does have sand for volleyball or badmitton, but have to bring net"
