Whispering Pines Apartments

"The owner of this property should be ashamed of themselves. Other apartments that charge the same "market value" are so much nicer. These are low income/ subsidized rentals so most tenants are ignorant and dont complain because they are just happy to have a roof over their head but the owner gets a government check so theres no excuse. Nothing is ever fixed or upgraded, there is pest infestation like roaches, bats , stray cats ect. The surrounding neighborhood is very ghetto,dangerous streets where cars are constantly speeding, illegal dumping, homeless ppl living in cars nearby and just roaming around the area,junky unkept houses..No nice parks or any type of outdoor recreation nearby.. .. 2 ppl have gotten murdered during the last 5 years, one inside the property in broad day light near where kids play, and 1 across the street at the corner store. There are sideshows every weekend in the closest intersection and the cops take hours to show up. Even with all this need for improvement the management wastes their energy by nitpicking about things that dont matter just to make it look as if they are doing their job."

"MANAGEMENT REJECTED TO PUT MY RESTRAINING ORDER ON MY FILE AND STARTED CURSING AT ME AND SLAMMED THE OFFICE DOOR WHILE MY BABY WAS WITH ME IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA AND POSTED THE INSPECTION NOTICE ON MY DOOR AND NO ONE ELSE. AND MANAGEMENT IS CHARGING US EXTRA RENT. THE MANAGER MOVED HER 18 YEAR OLD SON, AUNT, AND NIECE INTO THEIR OWN SEPARATE APARTMENTS BY SKIPING THE WAITING LIST OF 3 YEARS AND I APPLIED FOR 3 BEDROOM. PEOPLE MOVED IN BEFORE I HAVE THIS IS DISCRIMINATION AND THE MANAGER MARTINIQUE MADE A LIFE THREAT TO MY FIANCE. AND SHE SAID" I WILL SEND MY SON TO DO IT"."
