"I have been living with my family for more than year already. This apartment community location is nearby to all good rating school. In-fact, the zip is for Sunnyvale but it comes under CUSD. Moreover, all the shopping/grocery stores are near by. Personally, i always like living close to my work and within the good school district rating. so, i end up renewing my lease here. Also, this community is safe and personally never had any issue. Its an old complex building similar to EU/German style elevation and its very well maintained by its manager Doreen and their staff."
"Touring a 2 bed 1 bath apartment (relatively cheaper than other apartments of the same features and sqft) was an AMAZING experience. Doreen is an absolute professional and very friendly, all questions were answered, laundry units and parking spots were shown in the tour as well. Just a very beautiful place overall."
"I lived here from 2012 to 2021. My experience with Kodiak LeGrande was great. Doreen (the manager) is really hard working. She went around the buildings exterior regularly looking for any issues that might be coming up due to weather or regular wear & tear. She was a great resource to us no matter the issue. Whenever there was a maintenance issue in the apartment over 9 years she took action right away every single time to resolve it. Andy & Doreen are just great people to get to know. Even today we didn't really want to move because we really like the community but we needed a bigger apartment. The property is old you get what you see. Its a quiet neighborhood with great schools. Doreen is the best person to deal with because she is very professional and conducts business the right way."
"Lived here for close to three years. Close proximity to several great restaurants and the freeway. The building is slightly older so it can be a little noisy, but for the price of the apartment this is the only trade-off. Maintenance requests were handled quickly and the manager has always been reasonable. Overall a pleasant experience and will recommend."
"We were generally content with the apartments; they were cheap and close to my work shuttle and my partner's school. But I really should have listened to the previous reviews of this place on Yelp. The issues arose when we wanted to move out of the apartment; although the manager made us nervous, we thought it would be okay. We fully intended and did pay for the remainder of our lease and moved to an apartment at Prometheus to be a little closer to family and enjoy a larger set of amenities and an overall nicer apartment. I believe Camille S. also mentioned Prometheus in a previous review. During our unofficial move-out date where we moved our furniture to our new place, the manager showed up and had a conversation with me where she asked me how we would continue to pay for the lease and how their property had massive amounts of vacancies. I explicitly stated to her my intentions to continue paying the rent and did exactly so for the remaining months. We left the apartment empty for months, and then our lease officially came to an end. We chose not to renew our lease and continued with the move-out process, thoroughly documenting every step of the way. From the previous reviews of this place on all platforms, we knew we would probably not receive our security deposit back; we were correct. Not only did we not receive our deposit back, but they also sent us a balance on top, so we left having to pay for construction costs. My partner and I are clean people and obviously didn't have many guests over due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although we were punctual with our rental payments, we didn't actually inhabit the apartment for the lease's entirety. We had created a stain from our shoes at the front door and two walls that had some damage from posters we taped up and minor scuffs during our inhabitance of the apartment. On the itemized list they sent us, they decided to repaint every single wall, trim, baseboard in the apartment. But the building is old and had stains from previous tenants. This was our first apartment, and my partner and I were excited to move into it but had no idea what we had in store. When it came to the move out process; I was understanding of the fact that COVID had seriously affected their business, and that they had tenants leaving on mass. I expected to be fleeced for cash based on their previous reviews, but the amount feels quite excessive. I feel as if they are doing a commercial remodeling of the unit at my expense and taking advantage of me due to my youthful inexperience. I highly recommend you stay away from their properties. I was and am a good tenant and am a reasonable person who rarely complains, but never again will I consider anything these folks at Saratoga Capital touch."
