The Grant

"One word to summarize this complex is "disappointment". The gates in the South building are constantly breaking down. The first gate is frequently hitting vehicles and management refuses to take responsibility. The gate edge is scuffed with different colors from past cars it's hit. We had garbage cans in the garage which where a convenience but where removed. It was nice to be able to toss away your garbage before you got into the elevator, now that garbage ends up in the elevator and parking garage. . . ONE HUGE inconvenience is the false advertisement of EV chargers. We moved into the complex when it first open , it took them 7 months to install EV chargers, 6 months later they removed the chargers with no prior notice. It's been close to 3 months waiting on EV chargers to be put back up and management has no updates to when they'll be installing new ones. You figure a plan would be set in place to avoid this inconvenience but hey ... Someone drove into the front entrance of the south building Dec 2023 damaging the front doors, two months later the front door is still broken. . Which we don't expect this to be fixed soon. As upper management once said "Unfortunately, some items are not solved overnight". It takes months for major ticket items to be addressed this seems to be a recurring theme.. On the plus side maintenance address issues swiftly. The building has nice amenities. If you can oversee the small details always falling through the cracks then this complex is okay. If you're expecting to get your money's worth your better off renting in Walnut Creek where major ticket items such as chargers and broken doors get addressed in weeks not MONTHS."

"I want to say Thank You to the team here at the Grant, as they were able to quickly respond to my service request. My Fridge had needed its water filter replaced and I felt it was semi-soon, but the team assured me it was no worries and that they could come and replace it same day. I left for a work meeting but was able to have it all replaced and working perfect by the time I came home. Big Thanks to the team. Janae, Brian and Hassan."

"The Grant is a beautiful place to live. The amenities are amazing, my personal favorite is the pet spa. With two dogs, the space makes it so much easier to clean them. The location is great! Within walking distance to many delicious restaurants, parks, and BART."
