"I've had a great first year at 150 Van Ness! I love my unit, and the amenities are fantastic. The gym is great and has everything you need to get a good workout in. The one maintenance issue I had was resolved quickly. Melanie was great in my initial tour and has also assisted me in my renewal options. I look forward to continuing my stay here!"

"The leasing service is unbelievably poor. They are only capable of making promises with a smiling face in person, yet fail to fulfill them. This issue has been apparent since I moved in last year. Despite having signed a contract, the leasing department has consistently demonstrated irresponsibility. When we submitted all required documents a week prior to moving in, they failed to follow up. It wasn't until we went to the office directly, just before our move-in date, that the person in charge finally took action. Never trust that the leasing department will handle your application responsibly. Furthermore, there is no parking space available. We have been waiting for a year with no response from the person responsible for parking. Additionally, this apartment complex seems to have divided parking, housing, and property management into three separate departments. To inquire about issues or make payments, you need to contact different individuals, making communication unnecessarily complicated. Moreover, the elevator frequently malfunctions, causing inconvenience. Overall, the lack of professionalism and efficiency in their services makes the living experience in this apartment complex highly unsatisfactory."

"My husband and I called 150 Van Ness our home for the past 5 years. We loved the modern building, location, amenities, the stunning views, lounge areas, many gyms plus lap pool and jacuzzi that are mentioned in other reviews, but what we loved the most was the care that the management team and staff provided for us. We felt very safe and our packages were never lost. The whole block was washed everyday, which is much appreciated giving the conditions in San Francisco. There were activities every week from food truck deals, yoga sessions, virtual art or cooking classes, and monthly in-person events with free wine for residents. We visited over 40 apartments in other buildings in the city when our lease was close to expiring, but we always preferred renewing with 150 Van Ness. From the leasing office, management team, maintenance team, reception, and security staff... everybody was helpful, with a great attitude and kind. We will treasure our wonderful time there from the East Coast now."

"I have been a resident at 150 van ness for the past 3 years and I can confidently say that it is by far the best apartment building I have ever lived in. The apartment itself is modern and spacious. The building also features wonderful amenities including a fitness center, a rooftop with stunning views, and cozy communal spaces. Furthermore, the harmonious community that is fostered here is truly heart-warming. The building's management frequently organizes social events allowing the residents to participate and food trucks regularly park outside the building for added convenience. What truly sets this building apart is the exceptional staff - always professional, readily available, and proactive in ensuring any concerns are promptly addressed. One time a carrier misplaced my package which contains very important documents and the staff made every effort to help me retrieve it and make sure I received it safely, which I greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone searching for a comfortable, safe, and convenient living space in the city."

"Style 5/5, Location 4/5, Leasing staff (Melanie) 0/5, Engineering responsiveness 1/5 (moved in 2 weeks ago, and not a single response to any of the move-in issues, even after 3 follow-ups!), Cleanliness 4/5, Value for money 3/5, Management 2/5 (no action to do anything about the bad lease & engineering issues). Shockingly poor experience with leasing service, move-in & quality of unit upon initial move-in. I've lived in more than 30 apartments around the world and never had such a bad experience, by a factor of 5 or more"
