"Overall, my experience at SR was mediocre at best - the premises are not up-to-date nor kept sufficiently clean, mold cannot be removed fast enough, and maintenance requests are not responded to promptly. In particular, though, I had reviewed a legally binding document with a staff member to terminate my lease before the full term had expired, and we had crossed out and both initialed - with the assistant manager's direct, in-person permission - a sentence that would have held me liable for an additional months' rent as penalty. In the month after moving out, the manager at the time (spring 2021) charged me the full penalty on my final deposit disposition anyway. I had to call the office often multiple times a day in order to ask about the status of the refund for several consecutive days. The manager was the only one who could fix the charge and was never on site, or so the associates kept telling me, so I had to keep calling. In the end (around 8 business days after initial contact), my persistence paid off and I was able to get the charge reversed such that I did not have to pursue legal action. That being said, the burden of having to "chase down" their elusive manager to get this situation resolved was incredibly frustrating. Hopefully management has improved since then, but I feel that this review is needed to help prospective renters understand what they could be in for if they choose to live at SR."

"I was hesitant to make this review because my experience staying here at this apartment complex for four years are mostly unsatisfactory.However some people like Shelby is always accommodating and ready to help. She’s always pleasant and always try to find a solution to a problem. Another employee who deserves appreciation is Joseph S. He came in twice to do maintenance repair in our apartment and was efficient, fast and knowledgeable.I hope there are more employees like them to make living here tolerable."
