"The UCSD Health system outside of student health is outstanding. My experieneces at the Student Clinic are acceptable at best. Specifically I had an appointment with Esther Choi, NP where she was dissmissive, combative, and impatient. I tried to be respectful throughout the whole appointment, but it seemed like she just wanted to get the appointment over with. These physicians always seem overworked. Sadly, it is really the only option students have for immediate healthcare."

"I was able to make two appointments for female health exams on the same day, seen by Dr Veronica Reyes. Dr Reyes was very professional, thorough, and informative. Positive experience overall."

"I called in during their after hours about a clinical disorder and when I was in the middle of giving my student info such as my name, student ID, DOB, and address. In the middle of a conversation, the person on the other end suddenly hung up on me. I had to call back and wait another 15-20 minutes for a response from them. When someone finally picked up, the other person asked for my name to see and check if the person that hung on me saved any information that I told, and they couldn't find anything. As a result, that second person showed more patience and compassion to finish doing their job for them than the first person who I talked to."

"I called UCSD student Health Services because my daughter who has got a positive COVID home test was feeling very sick. They told me she should come if she is having symptoms so they can check on her and she should double mask. She went there double mask dragging herself to have the front desk yell at her because she came there and she has a private health insurance. I’m miles and miles away and feel helpless! They should have told me that on the phone and they had no right to yell at my sick child paying hefty tuition to this school with inhumane staff. She is too nice and sick to fight back."

"My nurse was very sweet and patient. The doctors visit was ok; not bad, not great, just what I expected. The only reason I give 2 stars is was because the receptionist man at the group 2 desk was very cold and rude."
